I like the fact that you show all the process, including what didn't go well with it, most channels just show the end result. The bad staff are part of the whole thing and make the end ressult more enjoyable, so I appreciate that even if the video has to be a bit longer!
@@cheesepizza87 they had planned on doing RU-vid full time but I guess that unfortunately didn’t pan out. I’m guessing the fe32 was a bit too ambitious. Hopefully they come back semi-regularly
I haven't finished the whole video, but i bet the wheels gonna nail it 10000%, because this is the only channel in the whole Internet that never miss a good match between wheels and cars.
What I love about this channel is there is no cherry picking all the good and pretending the bad doesn’t happen like it’s SO easy to do. If knowledgeable professionals with all the tools available to them encounter problems and unforeseen hiccups, it give us driveway DIY guys who encounter a couple curveballs here and there, some positive perspective that even if we do everything right, sometimes it just goes sideways. 😂
Been wztching for a loooong time and I'd like to say that I'd rather have slower builds where you DON'T reuse cotter pins on ball joints, than these "quick" 4 ep builds just for the sake of building a jdm car and keeping people entertained. Just my opinion, I still love what you guys do though and always have 😊
great work boys a few hiccups on the way of this journey but you both showed great spirit and positive attitude.. the fun of rotary life.. but this car will be by far one your most favourite car to own..
What a beauty, the perfect colour wheels for a 99 spec IBM build. This is such an awesome clean build, especially for a quick series, it turned out amazing! Other than the oil leak haha, quite an unfortunate spot... But can't wait to see it on the street!
I’ve been thinking of getting a set for my zhp sedan. Konig is really pushing their marketing with all the RU-vidrs and they’re getting some designs out there that are worth running
Nice car and good parts. Would have been nice to see this car get the same attention to detail as the supra. Please clean up the hubs and under side!! But I'm a rotary guy so a bit biased, these cars deserve all the love.
Loving this builds honesty of issues found, even the challenges with the vmount kit fitment with battery etc. As an FD owner myself its sometikes hard to decide which parts to go as everyone sells the dream.
You managed to upgrade a legend and elevate it in new heights. Great job there guys! Cannot wait for the video where you drive it on street and racetrack.
You guys always do the cleanest, tastefully done builds. This thing is perfect, from paint, to conservative wheel choice, and great stance. Still loved your M5 build (zhp owner) Think you guys should do a GC8 build…(and two GD’s and a GC sitting in the driveway lol)
Beautiful car this was a cool quick series and love the channel and appreciate how you guys explain everything can't wait for the next series. Great job guys
Beautiful work, as always.......and, as always, I'm disappointed with the wheels! Call me a product of late 80's-into-90's Japanese builds: I like my wheels with a lip. All these flush wheels look like they belong on every boring car rolling out of a factory straight to your dealership parking lot 😞
Love this channel and builds! But Pete let you put those rotors on without cleaning the hubs? Come on Pete! Us with OCD need you to speak for us! EDIT: I made this comment very early in the video when you were working on the front passenger corner. I jumped the gun cause you did clean up the rear passenger hub. Please forgive me Internet.
I usually don't comment on wheels as that is up to personal taste, but those Konigs look perfect on an FD... Can't blame you either for not reffurbishing the calipers, but pretty sure that you guys will at least giv eem some TLC in coming episodes and who knows, maybe even painting the rear one to at least match the fronts
I also have Him tune my fd. I feel he is one of the best in the business. 8374 street port 494 wheel on pump93. Taylor Chassy Solutions. Is a game changer.
This might be the first time in this channel that the word "affordable" was used in the sense that normal ppl use it with the Buddy Club seats 😂 when Pete said affordable I thought it would be a $2000 seat
Best channel on RU-vid. Well done, been a watcher for years.. Helped me heaps with cars and I honestly have picked up heaps of tips, tricks and advice. #innocentmicablue ftw!
I love to see how u guys find all these local and lesser known folks for all the finishing details… ac vent, seat bracket, gauge repair person, etc. Do like the new denser videos too 👍🏼
The longer I look at the car, the more I fall in love with the colour, the blue just compliments the shape of the car perfectly😍 awesome wheels as well, really enjoyed the episode, it will be a long wait untill next saturday😢
I went through the same tight interior constraints of the RX7 family. It's a problem across all generations. I ended up going with a Tillett B5 carbon seat without pads and it is by far the BEST seat I've had in any of my cars. It fits me so well and and holds you in during a track day. And it's about the lowest seat on the market that I had to custom make my own adapters. Only problem it's VERY pricy, at about $1400 per seat. But for me, it's worth every penny for that comfort and headroom.
It's OK to show a bit of emotion when stuff like that happens. You did well to pull it together in an hour and get back to work. I would have sulked for a few days. Pleasant surprise hearing Seamus on the phone, he tuned my RX7 a few years ago.
ngl, i actually kinda like the look of the mazda 3 wheels on the rx-7, they look almost OEM in a good way, i think they just needed a real good clean or maybe a fresh coat of paint and some fresh rubber
damn that front plate really makes it all pop on the front. a white plate wouldnt look good at all. dont really like vanity plates but id def. rock one on a a rx-7! also the seat.. lmao. its like ordering shirts from america to eu hahaha
Yea the Mazda is incredible! It's a dream car for many of us and one of is not the most beautiful car since the Jag E series. BUT 1973-74 CELICA White in the Background??? COME ONE MAN!!!! YEA!
That sucks... Hot rodding will kill all us car guys one day... Dang😕 thank God for 3D printing. I'm sure those plastics can be reproduced without buying a parts car. Why does the head unit have a battery charger icon?
Pete and Dp you have been sponsored by fortune auto coilovers but never used their electric valves controller shame on you!!!😂. Good job getting rid of the Tein junk.( i ran the streets basic and flex z ) Summer they are going in the garage. Fortune 510 here i come
lol every episode is leaks and messes because of shotty mechanic work? This is why mechanics get paid shit lol, cos there's is no licensing requirements. Any random can build a car... even if they know nothing. Its why I left the industry. sheesh
Awesome build guys, looks clean as hell. I hope in the new year you guys will update your intro music... it's just high on the cringe meter, plus you guys are well overdue for a refresh anyway.
Oh man, when rock auto was having a closeout on RX-7 parts those lower control arms were like $40 a piece. Hopefuly prices go down on most of the parts now that Mazda has a restoration program in place.
Please note your description of high and low speed damping is reversed. Road driving/rough road surface comfort is dependent on the high speed response being soft enough. The speed being the rate of change of movement - as seen with things like pot holes and small imperfections.
you guys put new nice rotor on dirty rusty hub, no good Also torqueing bolts on silent hubs without preload of suspension is way to destroy them after a couple of rides
