boszwollocks I’m running the same on a Gen 1, just need 5mm spacers up front. Best looking ratio for these cars if you’re not doing a stance build IMO.
Thanks, I'm looking for a nice low maintenance 17inch set up. I'm running a bigger turbo and evo x wheels with 235/40r18. They rub and just aren't cutting it for traction
I am running 215/40/R18 on 18x8 +40mm offset and i car is lowered about 5 cm so a good bit, passed tuv in germany which is really strict so no problems with that setup and it looks pretty good.
Currently got my gen 2 Mazda 3 sedan on Vordoven Forme 10 19x9.5 +22 mm offset, Megan lowering springs, fenders barely rolled to prevent rubbing. Pokes a bit but looks really good. Made the jump up from 17 x 7.5s, very happy with the results.
I have a 2004 Mazda 3. I just bought a wheel and tire package from you guys recently and am waiting for the final wheel to be delivered. Although on your website it says my new wheels should fit, I’m still skeptical if it will. Suspension is stock as well as everything else. New wheel specs - 18x7.5 38mm offset New tire specs - 225x40x18 I’m wondering if they will fit without having to roll my fenders.
fellow speed6 owner. Yes please do a video for the 6. And what camber arms did you go with? I’m thinking of going x9.5 or x9. Can’t decide. I sold my 8.75s and I’m now on BCS and my fenders are rolled
@@kadekast8814 I went with godspeed camber arms all through out and they work great except if you camber your fronts more than five degrees your knuckle will start to grind into your coilover collars, and I'd say that 9s are definitely the best fit for peace of mind, not having to worry about rubbing so much and whatnot, you can see my car on Instagram @novaspeed6
thinking of running 235/245 tyres on 17x9+35. do i need to roll the rear or the front? and would i need any spacers? i know for +45 you need a 5mm to clear the struts( I'm on kw coilovers).
@tall divi that should fit. Because you’re +35 you will clear the strut. 235/45 might be a little taller than 255/40 (not sure) you may have to raise the car a bit to get the stance that you want.
I just received my new wheels and currently looking for tires to mount on them. Wondering if I can mount 235/40/18. Wheel spec is 18x8.5 +35. I have a Gen2 (stock suspension, no fender rolling)
I have 234/40-18 Nitto NT05s on some 18x8.5 wheels. It's just about vertical to the wheel and I love it. You should be plenty fine on stock suspension. -Sean
I have been looking at a set of cosmis racing +33 18x9 and wanting to run 245 40 18s on it, its stock right now but going to lower it about 2 inches, will I have and run etc
I went thru the whole gallery you are missing a Mazdaspeed with the exact fitment I want. of course, lol was looking at a 255 40 18 on an 18 by 9.5 with 40mm offset. wonder if I'd have to roll fender or not.
I assume the fender well dimensions of a 2011 Speed 3 are the same as my 2011 s hatchback. No? I want to fill the fender wells without rubbing. Lo entiendes?
2008 Mazda CX 9. Can't even find anything matching on your gallery. Are there no after market coilovers and wheels/tires for it? Want to drop it a little, but don't know what I can do.
Here are specs on all cosmis wheels that fit! Every individual listing will have details on if you need modifications to fit the wheels or not🤘 www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?wheel_brand=Cosmis%20Racing&sort=date&page=3&year=2012&make=Mazda&model=MazdaSpeed3
I got a 1st gen sitting on coilovers with cut fenders big flares and 18x10.5 wheels. 😂 I'm here because yesterday a pothole ENDED my rear passenger 245/40/18 tire because they're stretched to fit. 😐 I got the car this way. Trying to decide what I can do to keep these wheels.
I have a Mazdaspeed 3 obviously lol, and I’m riding with stock suspension and the stock 2010 wheels that come with them. The current tires it has are 225/40R18 but I want to try a 225/45 or 225/50. Does anyone know if both of these will work fine without any rubbing? Please and thank you for all who help!
Just a head up. Don't run GEN 2 wheels on a gen 1 if you don't have spacers. They're et 52.5 at 7.5 inch. They hit the strut if you have a 235 tyre. You can only run 215's on the gen 1 with bc's (maybe 225) And trust me. 215's are not enough for the torque when you start modding it.
i have a 2008 gen 1 MS3 with KW coilovers set as high as possible (still about a half inch to 1 inch lower than stock ride height) and with the stock (gen 1) wheel i was able to run 225/40 18 with out any issues. they are also +52.5 offset but only 7" wide not 7.5" that does make a difference. im now running Rays International Mazdaspeed MS01S that are 18/8.5 +40 offset. they came with 225/45 on them so i kept the tire cause why not, they still had good tread. lol But they are tall and rub on the backs on big dips or if i pack my car with people in the back seat. my rear fenders are rolled and pulled but im gonna see to have them pulled a little more. im looking for new tires now but i havent desided on a width yet. it will be either a 235 or a 245. the wheel can support up to a 265.
I just did a offset calculator and it said it will push out the wheel 1.7 inches from stock, that would look so bad I don’t get how people fit put them on their speeds and have them fit flush ?
Hi guys, as always great content. I have a Mazda speed 6 and was wondering with an XXR 530 wheel 18 with a 9.5j. What offset would I need without spacers and what's the biggest tire size I can fit. I usually like a flush fit style. My fenders are rolled. I'm on stock suspension for now, I'm looking at lowering springs or coil overs. I would appreciate your advise. Thanks in advance.
if you go to their website (Fitment industries) they have a section with literally thousands of cars. i was on there just a couple days ago and found like 10 pages worth of info for my Mazdaspeed 3. Abd now this video. im sure you will have no problem finding Mazdaspeed 6 cars and setups on the site. good luck. www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?make=Mazda&model=MazdaSpeed6&sort=date
I have a gen1 MS3 Hatchback.. I want to get a thicker tire to reduce road noise and feeling every pothole I hit. What rim/tire size can I do to achieve this with a 17” rim (I want it to look good too without fender rolling)?
@@fitmentindustriesgarage5583 Right now I’m using the stock 18” rims and tires 215/45 so I’m looking to do a completely new setup. I heard 17” with thicker tires was the way to go but I don’t know what size rim and tires I can do 😫
Don’t listen to Don, people run 17s all the time. My Gen 1 has 17x9 +45 RPF1s and 255/40 tires, this setup is all over the internet not sure how/why they missed it. Fits perfect though just need 5mm spacers up front to clear suspension.
@@CeltixFan20 oh yes. It is more of a general thing with the channel. 18s are quite common on all their videos but most of the vehicles that are shown have more variety of sizes to them. I feel if you are selling wheels you need to showcase all things and as many setups as you can to gain more customers and more viewers. Like I told @don e. I have seen them locally with 17s and 19s. For track setups 17s are best hands down. For show setups the 19s on air is perfect.
