Hi, thanks mate. No after the last build video I didn't change anything. I think the MX-3 is driving very good with the current setup. But for this track, a shorter gearbox would be better, I think. I hope next year the MX-3 will have a little more power, then the taal gearbox will make more sense.

@@ZeoRyu Haha, the never ending chase for more power. 😆👍 Btw, I'm not sure about this, but have you ever considered to do ethanol conversion? My mx3 k8 came with one, made in Finland. They specifically make a kit for it. I live in Finland and those guys who make them are insanely knowledgeable (they live near me). Pretty common nowadays to find eFlexifuel kit on cars made for track days. In their most advanced version, you get completely configurable fuel maps and see the results without expensive dynoing. You can program 3 custom maps and after that, just switch you favourite maps for track, street or for example fuel savings (with your smartphone) on the fly. Throttle response can be customized too among other parameters. For track use, you can be sure your engine is always getting the best fuel/air ratio which increases longevity. As a bonus, there will be some hp and torque gains, (even without using ethanol). You can put whatever fuel in your tank, ethanol, gasoline, race fuel or anything between. Installing a a basic ethanol kit is plug and play and everyone can do it. I even disassembled mine, because previous owner was routed all the wires pretty awkwardly and the box was hanging with zip ties. 😆 Can't wait to see your "story" videos, hopefully you can produce more of them. @@j_moonchild sounds nice. But in Germany there is no E85 available. So best option for a NA is 102 octane aral ultimate and a map for it. I still have a megasquirt for a while, but never tested it. So if I finally use it and optimize the map, I think there are still 10hp.

@@ZeoRyu Oh, what a pity... In Finland, we use only industrial waste (waste from forest industry, food processing, waste fats from restaurants etc.) to produce E85. But with MS, I think you can get good results. I would like to think, it is not all about power, but to be sure the engine gets the best fuel mixture to add longevity. Also I find interesting that pure ethanol lowers the temperature in combustion chamber up to four times (79C) compared to pure gasoline, 19C. But I think this is with direct injection? @@j_moonchildI think it's over 5 years ago, maybe 10. There was E85 available at the gas station. Many people with high tuned turbo cars used it. It was very cheap. I think it cost almost half as much as regular gasoline. But the Germany decided to put taxes to it and it was the same price or more expensive as regular gasoline. I have never informed myself about exactly what the advantages and disadvantages of E85 are.

Hättest letztes WE mal mitkommen sollen, dann hättest du den kleinen mal in der kleinen Klasse testen können. Da wärst du definitiv nicht der langsamste gewesen.

Its no problem to change timing without taking the engine out. But how do you come up with the topic?

@@ZeoRyu because we are working on our mx3 that stood still for 14 years. And when we try to run the engine smoke comes out off the intske. So we believe its a timing issue

@@racefiets9739 if you know all the bolts, its one hour work. You don't have to take the engine out. 😉

@@ZeoRyu thats the thing we cant get to one of them for some reason. Theres one bolt thats pointing straight up that is in the way of one

I bought my KLZE over ten years ago from jdmparts.nl. And I bought another one fron privat, which comes from a MX-3 spare car.

Leider immer wieder solche Idioten auf der Strecke. Der hat neben mir auf der Geraden auch wieder vollgas gegeben und war die ganze Zeit neben mir, statt mich einfach mal vorbei zu lassen. Hat dann aber so früh gebremst, dass mein Bruder auch direkt noch vorbei ist. Mein Kollege wurde 3 Runden lang von dem blockiert.
