Looking after it or not , engine rebuilds are a maintenance thing to the rotary , had a couple of them.. Still have one , but another cars engine in it mx5 1.8 with garrett turbo , puts about 390 to the wheels and 430bhp

i know that 1.4 bar is slightly lower than 15psi so .55bar should be like 6-8psi

As i know, rotary is pretty solid engine and 80 or even 90% of all rotary engines break because people don't know how to take care of them. I've seen incredible projects made on rotary engines so I think if you tune it correctly and service in time, everything will be good

Yes this engine is fine from the rx7, though the the RX8 engine didn’t take as well to turbocharging as it was designed as a high power naturally aspirated rotary and with its side ports it retains too much heat in the motor if turbocharging leading to hot spots and reliability issues with sealing

don't put turbon in your rx8 Trust me, even if it's ''cool'' you'll be better off with a good setup and streeport and sweet exhaust like a borla, you gonna love it! :)

Very rare, Renesis is already bad for heat, turbo don't help and restricted exhaust ports.
