@@themodelcarproject I am trying to get into this hobby of making some sort of mods to my hot wheels and other 1/64 scale cars but I wanted to know where do you get your wheels and where do you get your material for the pop up headlights?
@@mjwatershark1881 I bought some of my wheels on ebay. Try different key words like: 1 64, rims, tires, diecast, … For the parts you will have to search a little bit online. Would recommend modelbuilding shops, or ebay here as well (usually the modelbuilding shops sell on ebay too)
Wow what a perfect build! 7 year old me would had a blast with these cool cars you make. keep up the great work because your Hot-Wheel garage is looking sick as ever! I need to learn how to do this so I can restore my favorite Hot-Wheel car (Ford GT LM, its got a blue paint job with twin stripes) I've always loved the car but it got pretty beaten up over the years. now that your channel exists I can restore it to its former glory, thanks.
you should start a competition with Jakarta Diecast Project, Tolle Garage and Teri Diecast that you start with the same car but have some restrictions like no widebodies, has to include widebody. You get the idea. Btw love your customs
Very true, would be interesting. But I think JDP and tolle garage would outrun us, because (especially jdp ) is doing this as a full time job. I don't have enough time to finish one high end custom every week😬 (sadly) And thanks mate, glad you like my cars!😊
The original looked like it's bad quality but you just maked it so cool, I specially like the 3D printed intercooler and the open headlights. Very nice work as always
@@themodelcarproject Thank you! also i believe I've found an alternative, I picked up those paper clips with colored vinyl covers and they work perfectly for regular hot wheels axles but not so much for pins you get in extra axle sets.
Thanks a lot mate!✌️ I'm very glad. I actually don't know where I bought them, but I guess in my local store. But they are called "ferrules", I bet you will find something online to buy.
Good job on this mystery car 😊👍 , and your video is funny 😁 , good job again on this RX-7 , i like 👍😊 , my rx-7 is again in progress , maybe this weekend 😊😉
Heap thanks mate! Glad you like the edits! Exciting about that rx7 fd of yours, already saw some of your bodywork, it looks great! Btw I made an rx7 fd as well😂✌️
ok i need some help from the Hot Wheels Community i just started collecting and want to customize as well, the trouble im having is tapping and drilling the posts so i can use a screw to put them back together, my issue is i cannot find a 3mm drill and tap other than the junk i just got off Amazon which was 100% worthless .... is anyone able to help me with the rite tool for this job please and thanks
I made already a video on that topic, maybe that helps: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VOaeBJ2oS2I.html And I would recommend to buy "HSS" drills (and of course maybe not the cheapest ones😉)
Keep up the work man ur work is amazing 👍 I do customs as well I should start posting vids on them soon ur a inspiration to me 😀 one day I will be as good as u keep up the great work bro 😎
You are absolutely right. Just had them skinny tires already on and couldn't remove them without destroying the wheels xD But the new ones will be always painted now 👌
