i agree. when it says ( this world its not ment for you ) referring to the maze and the fact that they need to escape. but not only with that. basically every frase in the song means something to the plot of the movies.
What I like from this trilogy is from the first is definitely a introduction and then second explores more of the world and then the third just uses those while exploding in your face
It is a very concise trilogy, the first is the best artistically, it introduces us to an unknown world, only with the first shot you realize, how the camera rotates around Thomas making it smaller and smaller, revealing the walls of the labyrinth. The second is the most intense, it leads us fully into the world outside the labyrinth of form. more agitated. They do not stop running, they do not have a single moment of calm and when they finally do, WCKD appears. The third is the weakest but uses all the elements of its predecessors to conclude one of the best trilogies I have seen.
I’m not sure what the budget was or what, because surprisingly the quality and set design of these movies were so high and great. Especially the second and third movie’s sets.
You realize Gally literally lost the most in this? He left behind nearly all his friends in the Glade to starve to death. That was about 10 people. Thomas lost 3, Frypan lost 1, Minho lost 6, and Gally lost 10
@@kingcamelot1395 I actually loved the first book. It was a great start to the story, but I couldn't find the same mood in the other books. I believe this series would have been as popular as the Hunger games If the author had used this idea better.
I loved maze runner i had no clue there was 3 other movies of it and i absolutely just love the chase scenes in this series theyre just so good they make me love the shit out of chase scenes or just make it in time kinda scenes or else youll die and with run boy run its perfect
I have read the first 2 books so far, and am half way through the 3rd. I haven't seen any of the movies except for little clips here and there. I want to read the books first and then watch the movies in order but I don't know where to watch the first one.
Oof, I have also read the books first. The first movie is still the best for me, because it is almost the same as the book. I personally have bought the films, so I sadly can't give you tips on that. But damn, have fun with the drama.
This is a really good edit but my opinion on maze runner is kinda twisted bc i read the books first and the movies just take a hugely different turn in their plot after the first one. Like there are a lot of differences between book 2 and the 2. movie but the third one is just entirely different to book 3, which sucks bc i feel like the books just had a much grander and immersive plot and characters :/
I have not had the opportunity to read the books, but I do know several differences. I think the movies took a more generic direction but I think it was the producer's fault because wess ball shows he's a fan. I love movies because I feel that they are something different if we talk about dystopian futures but in the last 2 I understand that they decline. the first is fist art, the second takes a more generic course but it works and the third you only see it because of the love you have for the characters.
this is off topic but before newt died (they said he was infected) i repeated "make him survive" over and over. When he died, i cried like 11 times bc edits of his death showed up, and then i wished that brenda would die and not him. Also Great edit!
I read the books, and was honestly disappointed by the movies. But this was over 3 years ago, and I've forgotten most of the info about the movies. Time for a movie marathon!
This song is TOTALLY a great song for thomas run boy run! and unrelated but teresa i feel sorry for her after all she's done it wasn't bad she just wanted to find the cure 😥
When I saw the movies I was like 8 years old I think and I don’t remember it that good, but see this video nowadays, I don’t think is that good cause now I’m 14 and I have read the books, the books are cooler. The movie is good gloryfying it better, but the book has cooler things.
Books have more content, more history. The films try to tell a long story that delves into their characters, motivations, personality, decisions, values or ideals, etc. Without forgetting all the history that they must cut to have an average duration. It is difficult to adapt a book to a movie. I think the first is a very, very good adaptation, the sequels lack the originality of the first. They lack the cinematographic language that the first one did not lack. They do not transmit the same. They are sequels, interesting that contribute to the story but nothing too sophisticated at the end of the day. the death cure is a good closing, but nothing you haven't seen yet. At some point you enjoy them for the characters. They are not the best movies, they are not even transcendent but I would always recommend to anyone who watches them.
