Awwww Wes has Newt's necklace. It's so perfect and fitting. He's been such a big fan of the books, and he's a talented, friendly, and hardworking director. I remember the cast encouraging him and teasing him to continue directing the rest of the trilogy after the first one came out, and he's taken the challenge three times over to create such a blockbuster franchise. Even though there are drastic changes from the books, in the end, the trilogy holds up as a fantastic adventure and a heartfelt story that resonates with a lot of people. I am glad that Wes has kept such a keepsake from the trilogy, and I hope it includes the actual rolled up letter inside too. Those words in the note are so powerful and heart-wrenching. "Thank you for being my friend." RIP my heart.

out of all the action scenes in this movie, the emotional scene stood the most for me. that scene when teresa walking down the street and saw thomas on the other side of walkway, that is a gem. wes is more suited in directing sad/love stories instead of action movies
