Mazeppa Bay Garrick fishing on the South African Transkei Wildcoast 

Spinning for Garrick off Mazeppa Bay island. The Garrick/Leervis are moving back down the coast following large shoals of baitfish. In summer these shoals of baitfish move close inshore within casting distance of Mazeppa island, bringing the predatory pelagics following close behind them. Spinning chisel nose plugs and dropshots we attempt to catch some of these 'silver slabs'.
