believe me or not.. a CA can never become a CFO without MBA or other Management Degree. Sheer Management skills are needed and knowledge from all departments is needed to become a manager!! CA is all bout Accounts but Finance is a very vast part!!

Mostly a CA would be doing operational work whereas an MBA in Finance will be required mostly for taking managerial decisions in an organization. For this reason only an MBA will get paid a lot more than a CA (considering they are both working in the same company with roughly the same amount of experience).

In my opinion, for job of freshers top 10 mba colleges are better than ca but if a ca is highly skilled then he can earn a lot because if we compare the knowledge it's always in the favour of ca.

As a CA aspirant i can say that this is very true and also there are soo many factors that also should be considered when choosing like your expectations from the course, exposure you will get, time is very imp factor in CA etc. I also feel that i should have opted the other route since it aligns more with my goals.

CA miles ahead, I agree that top MBA schools have huge value, but in terms of knowledge, professional opportunities with variates, potential growth CAs are clearly ahead.

I would recommend you to do ACCA, US-CPA, Canada CPA rather doing CA or MBA. If want to do job. Higher salaries, higher passing percentage, less duration and easy abroad visa. CA has lowest passing percentage in India, mostly 85% students didn’t clear it after multiple attempts... it’s harsh truth, but no one can tell you. Bcz for selling course, faculties making hypes. Stupids see always positive side, Sensibles see both sides.

Yes I agree that ca cource provides very in dept knowledge in every subject, but harsh reality is that it doesn't provide high packages which a qualified CA deserves. Whereas a mba from a good college can provide way more good packages, although it depends whether or not we can get into those colleges because cracking CAT exam isn't easy. Ca is a decent cource where we can earn a decent income (in general). I'm a ca aspirant and I know the reality.

Brother, You should also consider CA in practice bs Top 10 MBA's. There is no comparison for CA. Just look at out finance industry (Every renouned personality is chartered accountant) If you consider monetary comparison then CA Practise start where MBA income ends. You can't imagine now

I don't agree with you, investment banking also comes under finance, but the role of an investment banker and ca is completely different, investment bankers earn way more than CAs, but i agree with your one point that CAs in practice after a very long time and hardwork can earn more than MBAs, but that's like 1 in a 100 CA

Average CA ko top MBA se compare kar rahe ho. Comparison ka base hi galat hai. Top ko top se karo. Top firm articled CA, rankholders, etc inse karo na compare toh apple to apple comparison hoga.

@@theiimguy No, he is not right. Hardly 20-25 CAs gets above 15L in campus placement, out of 6000-7000 CAs. Average gets 6-7L. It’s myth, rankholder CAs are getting higher salaries. We shouldn’t talk exceptions.

JBIMS is known for its 2 year MMS program that offered around 150-160 seats. These seats are allocated through CMAT, CAT and MAH-CET exams. But what if all 160 seats get filled by cat aspirants. Gosh, I don't know much about CA or any other degrees in commerce field and what would be the future of taking any degree...I am just confused and there's nobody in my contact reliable enough, who has personally done these who could suggest me or knows pros and cons of these and provide me straight up path. @@theiimguy wrong... both are nothing to do with Market. CA is accountancy and Auditing, absolutely not related to Stock Market. You can go for MBA for degree, because degree is required for entry in any trading firm. but it’s not enough you should have to do Tradings courses.
