@@afrikantiger yes of course, from what I can see from this upload , Uhuru Park is completely gone, it was a park that had cricket pitch, swings, slide, seesaw and climbing frame, mango trees, a jungle and Nkonkonjeru (Wanale) mount had 3 waterfalls , one was seasonal, we used go fishing in the streams, the jungle had animals, big monitor lizards, wild cats, snakes, exotic birds.. different time and world. The Mbale Golf course is definitely gone and it was one of the best in East Africa, this was located near Mount Elgon Hotel and European Town as it was known at the time Fairway Primary was predominantly a White school though there were African and Indian students though not many, I was educated at North Road Primary School
