All those is SPL subs.... high fs and require big boxes... those subs have a fs at least 35 and up....a SQL sub will have a low fs of like 27-30.... meaning it will move the easiest at the frequency and play those notes lower, deeper, and more effectively...a high fs sub will not play that low compared to a sub with a way lower fs.... you can tune the box as low as you want, won't make a difference.... the sub is one thing and the box is another
MBE... If I am paying attention, the king designation is hitting 140db with two 8 inch drivers. I don't have a truck, but a 4 door honda civic sedan. Would I be correct in assuming I could get low and "almost loud" (maybe 130db or so) with one 8 inch king? Removing 1 driver should drop about 3db and losing half the power would result in another 3db drop or so. Does this make sense? Thank you.
My favorite channel, but I also have a sedan. The important thing to take away is the basic principles the man is breaking down. Proud owner of 2 MBEs. Get a box💯
