This is a great example of MBO's high speed roll to fold finishing line. This shows a 4 page nested folded letter, 1 up. The MBO split and merge unit slits the web in half and realigns the gear side and op side of the web as ribbons to a single letter form. The MBO buckle folder finishes the cross folds in the letter to make a 3 panel product. The line generally consists of UW52/520, PFS Plow Fold, SPM Split and Merge Unit, SVC525C Sheeter, DFT Buckle Folder, ASP Delivery. You can also see one the MBO specialty modules called the BF520 which is a module that can hold an offline ink jet head to apply variable data to the web. This is commonly used in a shell environment or could be used in a read and write card environment.
