His name is Jeremy, also known as Red Means Recording. It's a pleasure for him to make your acquaintance.
He is perhaps most renowned for creating music and videos using the Teenage Engineering OP-1 digital synthesizer. It's likely that you are also quite renowned for something quite impressive.
Jeremy crafts music using a diverse array of equipment, including Ableton and several hardware synthesizers. He also produces videos using After Effects, Premiere, and various other tools.
His Patreon serves as a creative space where music, videos, and other valuable content are generated. In this space, there will be an exchange of ideas and emotions and the sharing of stems and samples, among other beneficial things.
Occasionally, there might even be an appearance from a dog.
He is delighted that you are here.

Loved the back and forth in this one. Great to see two pros be so interested in each other's process. Sad to hear that the weirder RMR videos haven't done as well this year. They've been so funny but also really informative and inspiring.

RU-vid channels tend to do well when they're centered around an entertaining personality. What people find entertaining is different for everyone but like, a channel like Ola Englund's for instance, he could just read the dictionary or the instructions manual for a piece of gear and it would be entertaining to watch. I think the focus of the content is what draws people in initially, but the persona presenting it is what keeps people coming back and allows you to be content-agnostic.

what an absolute banger of a podcast...instant subscribing to Red Means Recordings. Thanks for always bringing the heaters Mr. Bill...also to add, as someone whose values mostly align with those considered "on the left", there aren't many bigger groups of absolutely unhinged, terminally online crazies than many of those on my side of the political isle. Kudos to you for not letting the hate mobs prevent you from learning complicated topics.

What Jeremy says about arcane knowledge and learning a new DAW is where I am at with any DAW. steep hill to climb that learning curve. BUT, vcv rack clicks with my brain, and I can have a blast creating in it.
