@@CryptoCwis from what I've seen you can, but you'll get a code unless you buy some kind of plug for the actuators since they won't be plugged into anything anymore

Hell yeah!! I had the race for about 4 months before I bought the mufflers from the street version. Too loud on the highway for me lol

I would say you could drown it out with music, but people saying it has no drone might have autos. Mine was disgustingly droney in 6th around 50-60 mph but was otherwise just very loud at any speed and rpm

@@MCMCYO117 mines a 10r80 car. I got the mbrp race and installed it on Saturday. I love the way it sounds and although it does have some slight drone it’s really not as bad as I thought it would be. If I turn my volume on my music up to 6-7 I can’t hear it

@@joee.s550 no issues w/ fitment as long as you have a rear valance for quad tips. Yes this is louder than 15-17 version but you lose the deep rumble.

The race is very loud on cold starts, even the street is decently loud lol I'd say if you're concious about neighbors go with the street because it's not gonna piss people off every morning. The race might 😂 As for the drone, the race exhaust is like a 8-9, it's bad 😅 which is why I switched to the street which is about a 2-3 depending on RPM. They aren't kidding when they say the race is a RACE exhaust lol it's LOUD

@@MCMCYO117 Excellent looking mustang by the way, love the colors, sounds good , looks good , glad your keeping the manual ALIVE too man ! , I know the automatics are faster if you were to street race , dragstrip etc * , but as my personal preference I had to have my Manual , with a loud exhaust. I'm happy, also don't care too much for the digital instrument cluster on these newer ones , love the analog, but like I said it's MY personal preference 😁 Drive on man ! , much love from " I knowww " California😎

I did the same thing here! I like having both versions because now if I decide to go loud again I can just send it haha the race is SO MUCH LOUDER though, just so you know if you haven't done it yet!

@@MCMCYO117 how is the drone on the street version while cruising? I used to have flowmaster outlaws and the drone was killing me on the highway...

@@marcogerges there's none! I've taken a few 10 hour road trips and a LOT of 3 hour ones and I've never been bothered by it. The race would be so drone-y that 20 minutes would kill me, so the street is awesome for no drone but keeping a nice loud tone when you want it

For me it only really droned at 65-70 in 6th gear, but I avoided that by staying in 5th until 70! But honestly very little drone for how loud it is lol

Watch some other people's videos of it! It does that in mine due to shitty mic and shitty placement, but it definitely is something you won't hear in real life, trust me

The 2018+ MBRP is built to not drone. If you look at those built in "almost resonators" on the sides, those are to prevent drone.

I have this exhaust on my 2018 the drone is not that bad

@@unbracingloki Yup! I have it on my 2020 and it's perfect.

I actually switched out the race "mufflers" for the street mufflers lol... I wouldn't say it was so much drone-y as it was just loud as hell all the time, but my ears couldn't take the sheer volume on the highway. If I lived in a city and didn't only drive on highways it would have been perfect
