Yes. I'm an INFP as well, though everything isn't accurate, as can be expected. Every person has a different personality, so even 16 are too few. Anyway INFP is the one that fits me the most. I think that the aspect that I have the most problem accepting about INFP is that we are "seekers". I don't feel like I try different things. I'm actually very scared of new things. Right now for example I'm working as an accountant. I've worked in the same company for 4 years and deep down, I know that I need to change careers. I'm scared to, because it's a stable source of income. My husband is unemployed and works in a field where it's difficult to find a job, so we need my stable income for now. At least once a month I think about wanting to change careers. It makes me so frustrated, and I feel like I'm stuck. It feels like changing careers would be a failure, like I start over from scratch, from nothing, but I really don't feel like my work gives me anything back. I know I do a good job, but it's not enough anymore. I'd like to try a literature, linguistic or environmental career when I get the chance. When my husband gets a stable income. Now instead I try to fill my life with hobbies.
I know it can be frustrating, I've been there. Start by trying to find your type by choosing between the letters (I-E, N-S, F-T, J-P). And then confirm it by reading the associated cognitive functions. The website personality junkie is very good for that. Don't just read profiles and try to see if it fits you, some are too generic. But don't worry you belong :)
@@Reyaz Your comment is hostile while I had no bad intention with mine. (Except whining a little a feeding my self pity.) So you think I am stupid because I thought it is possible that only one person in the whole can not fit in any of the types? Maybe you are right but that gives you no reason to be so rude. We should all be a little bit nicer to each other in the youtube comment section.
I like that you've provided pointers for us to think on when taking the tests. I'm an INFP so hi fellow INFP 🙋🏿♀️ Coming to know this about myself a while back has transformed my life. I no longer felt odd or an outsider. I was able to just embrace my disposition and focus on helping other INFPs do the same in their careers and life. Great and helpful video. Thank you for sharing.
Ahah hello fellow INFP! That was the same for me, knowing all this changed the way I see myself. The path you chose sounds great! Thank you for watching :)
Just to make sure, I took several tests multiple times, and after getting the results & studying the different types, I'm fairly comfortable identifying as an ISTP with some strong INTP tendencies.
I always get the same 4 results in every test: infj, intj, intp, infp. I'm pretty sure I'm not an intj, and I might be more precieving than judging, but I find myself identifying more as an infj than infp. So wtf am I? Edit: 3 years later I learned a whole lot more about mbti, came to understand the cognitive functions more in depth, and i can safely say i was definitely wrong then and now i know I’m an ENTP. Don’t trust tests kids
@@Pinkrevenge101 yeah it’s been a year and I’m more educated on the matter.. after learning cognitive functions I realized I’m more likely Ne dominant so I’m actually ENTP lmao after so many mistypes
I also can't tell if I'm ni or Ti Dom. But my test results: jupiter-34: 34%Intj, 20%intp and 19%infj Personality junkie: Intp Personality hacker: Intj Then 16personalities: Istj??, 2nd try I get intp?? Yea results do fluctuate (last year I got intj)
I was pretty sure of me being an INFP before watching this. If not, I also considered myself to be an ISFP (maybe an Fi-Ni jumper?), mainly because I see myself being interested in Se stuff lately. But since you linked a test that I have never done before, and called it to be fast and pretty acurate, I decided maybe it will help me. I got an INFJ and I was not expecting it at all. Being very confused, I did all the tests you've linked. My result is 2xINFJ and 2xINFP. My confusion is even greater than before. Thanks haha No, I don't think I could possibly be an INFJ. I'll stay with the INFP for now.
For me it's usually between INFP, INTP, ENFP and ENTP...still not sure which one suits me the most and after trying out all kinds of tests (even the ones in the description), I can only say for sure that I have to be an xNxP-type
@@dreamluvr1600 why not? For some people it's quite easy to "classify" them, for others it can be quite challenging. It's a potential way to get to know yourself and others better and understand the reasons on why you and others behave the way that you do. Like for some people it's easy to get along, for others you have to make an actual effort to keep in touch with them and spend time with them...which is probably due to character and personality traits of a person.
@@CassyFalls i think ur on the right path that ur xNxP, im wondering if ud rather explain to me why youre xNxP or which functions you relate most to… actually yeah, out of all the functions Fi Fe Ni Ne Si Se Ti Te you get the gist, which function do you NOT understand, as in understanding how another person could have it high up in their stack is a MYSTERY to you, which function boggles ur mind like you would not know how to go explaining it to a class of people
@@dreamluvr1600 First of all I don't think I'd have an issue with explaining the functions to other people since I've read about them quite a lot. Second of all I think that xNxP is me because I'm easily distracted, even when I play a game with a story, I'd rather just skip through it instead of immersing myself in it. I also like to either have music in the background or a movie/tv show (I do have two screens which makes it a lot easier) though I often switch between these two and even if I start a tv show, I might either just watch 5 minutes or an episode or I'll go through all marvel movies in a week, watching 3-4 movies each day. Whenever I can I procrastinate all kinds of tasks (whether it's university or just tasks like cleaning my room, etc). In addition whenever someone asks me to do something and they don't give me a reason, chances are high that I won't do it. If they give me a reason or explain themselves, they still have to deal with me doing whenever I want and not whenever they want. For Fi: I have a friend who is an INFP, they talk about their feelings a lot and about problems they face in life...while I've learned to be more considerate and try to validate their feelings, I'd much rather just propose solutions (which I still do). Whereas I still have my own values too like I don't drink and I don't do drugs since the potential risks outweigh the benefits. Te: Not a fan of doing things by the book or making a plan and coordinating things...I'd rather just do whatever I want and whenever I want. There's no reason to have a specific goal in my life other than staying alive and living my life. Ni: This is the one with the inner structures and just "knowing" right? I guess this one is rather weird. Se: This is the function for people who're good at sports, right? While I like going for walks, I'd rather stay home, play games or talk to other people. My life is in the here and now and I don't like to make plans for the future but I do think a lot about what I could do. Si: Learning from the past and applying it to the present...I guess that's what I do sometimes. There are some habits that I've had since my childhood. I also can get irritated when people do certain things different from what I've learned but I can also be annoyed at having to do something a certain way...while I do like to try out new ways of doing that task. If you got any other questions ask away.
@@CassyFalls youre so sweet, and thank u for all the information, i really like reading how people experience the different functions in detail so i was excited to see how much thought and effort you put into your post LOL. im getting an idea in my head of ur type, what kind of entertainment do you consume? i know u said marvel movies, do u have a favorite Marvel movie/series? are you watching those movies alone? how bummed would you be if i came in while you were about to start watching Marvel movie you like/have been looking forward to and said “NOOOO LETS WATCH XYZ, PLEEEEAAAAASEEEE????”
My Feeling and Thinking is always almost 50/50. I just retook the test. 34% INTJ 33% INFJ. I have been doing these tests again and again for the past couple of weeks to narrow it down, but it's at an impasse!
Look at the cognitive function descriptions pick the parts you relate to n the one with most u relate is your dominate function n it can help u find ur type
I did "the Best MBTI test" and got a perfect result that describes how I feel: 78% INFJ then 6% ISFJ then 4% INFP and then 3% INTJ and ISFP. The INFJ is the one I identify the most with and then ISFJ and INFP. Thank you, now I'm a bit more convinced I'm really an INFJ. 😊
Thankyou so much sir you don't know how helpful and satisfied i am feeling after this test i watched many videos but didn't understand well difficult to figure out for sure wether i am infp or not or something else but this test in your description is very amazing feeling very happy to know i am an infp for 65%
Last time I evealuated myself as a INFJ but after some time I doubt it because It says that this kind of personality is rare. Then I tried again and got 50% INFJ. This time I read the description and totally relate to it. So INFJ it is.
On the first quiz I got ENFP On the second quiz I got INFP On the third one I got ISFJ On the fourth I got ISFP Usually I get INFP Sometimes I get ISFP My best friend sees me as an ESFP I think I might be an INFJ WHAT AM I???
What you were saying about answering the questions about what comes to you like your unconsciousness is soo true for me! Cause sometimes I’d force myself to do something but it’s not my first inclination so I don’t know which one to say
go for cognitive function. INFJ and INFP are so different according to their cognitive functions. but ENFP with INFP is quite complicated, you just need to know first whether you're an introvert or an extrovert in this case.
Look people. These 16 personality types were literally developed by a mystery novelists and a magazine writer from the 1940s. Even Carl Jung said the first 8 personality types that he developed was nothing more than a game and not to take it seriously. There is ZERO science behind this test and it was only hyped up by a company that’s profited over $20 million on making these test and pitching them as a great way to place workers. Even that has been proven wrong and this test was no better at placing people than choosing randomly. Do your research. If you’re stressed over this test then you should probably kick yourself. People can argue all they want but the facts are out there. Look up the history of this test and the types yourself. 0 science involved!
Your test gave me INTJ i've thought I was an INTJ for years but another gave me ISTP and I identify with their more Sporty/ Tactican aspects than I do INTJ so I'm so lost
Or I am a mess or I did something wrong xD In the first test I got 45%ENTP 25%INTP 8%INFP 6% ENFP 3%ESTP In the second one I got INFx In the third one INTP and in the last one INFP At least I know I'm (N) and (P), is a start xdxd Maybe the unclearence of (T) and (F) is related on how I'm 5w4 in the enneagram? Idk. I will search more about the differences.
I did the first one 3 more times and even though the % changed, INFP and INTP were the ones which get repeated in each try. And in the last one I got the same types that my first but changed being 17%INFP 16%ENFP 15%ENTP 11%INTP and 9%ESTP (with 40 questions, it kept saying "5 more!" xDD) I guess I'm Ambivert. But is still the conflict between (F) and (T)
I answered the 16personalities test twice and got infp both times, but I had my doubts. Now I tried answering the first test in the description three times, just to be sure and got intp first time, and infp the next 2 times. I relate very much to infp, but I just can't feel completely sure...
If you hesitate between intp and Infp watch my last video, I talk about differences. I'm actually an INTP and a thought I was an INFP so it might help. I will shoot a video about Intp Vs Infp soon also ^^
@@MichaelSimone bro Idk, a lot of tests say im Intp, Entp, or Istp. I really dont know which I belong too, een though I relate to Istp and Intp. I feel more closer to the Intp side of things but yet I also feel that im not a true intp, like if ima fake or impostor which I dont want. Ive taken a bunch of tests, watched a multitude of videos and I still do not know which group I really belong to.
@@MichaelSimone I know I am extremely late, but when someone said you were INFP I was surprised, because the way you speak is very INTP. INFPs appear incredibly “feely” when they speak, but INTPs are very direct.
My thoughts Abt the links provided 1-not * pretty accurate *, I would rather say inaccurate straight(ESTP) 2-short ,didnt enjoy it but I can say that its accurate (INTP) 3-long-pretty accurate (INTJ)
At first it was between INTP and INTJ but now I've done all the tests and all of them said INTJ except for the first one it said I was INTJ then INTP and then other ones
I took all of the tests in the description haha I’m still unsure. I should probably just break the four letters down individually and do my own research I’m thinking.
From personality junkie i got intj i can relate to infj and intj so pretty accurately as I studied about cognitive function i can say im an ni dominant and so the site is right
i was doubting my mbti type and wanted to make sure and found this video and while listening i understood everything you were saying very well to find out that you were an infp and that my type too! happy to find a person same mbti type as me trying find out more about yourself!
I watched this Ted talk on mbti and she explained it really well the mbti is what you innately think n interact with the world or yourself With all those functions we use them all in diff situations but have one that feels natural and use most So I thought the type I got was what I wanted to be or am trying to be better at like organization planning intj so irl I am quite emotional but the se is the least dominant function apparently could u use it but it could be chaotic I think the worst part is I need examples to answer those questions in the test like a scenario then I can answer it better on wat I would do
@@sennebicimbayansnz528 hm, I heard key2cognition and sakinorva is good, and they base the questions on cognitive functions, but try not to look too deep into yourself, I did this and it gave me completely different results than my actual type. Research is great, no test can 100% accerutely tell you your type. We use all 8 functions, it's just about the preference
@@krysik-sh2ql I really don't understand the question clearly. It makes me a bit confused. I click "not sure" or neutral on 80% of the question. And my result was INFP, and that was the first time I got an INFP result.
