Available for download grabcad.com/library/cri-cri-c... osvaldoprojetos.blogspot.com.br/ I have several other models for sale here in the channel for 50 dollars, contact in my email osvaldosurf2@gmail.com, payment via paypal.
Cool drawings, I had the opportunity to fly the real machine in 1987. I flew the aircraft 4 times and it was the most incredible experience of my life. The machine I flew was powered by two 28 hp Rotax snowmobile engines, it had the highest hp of any Cri Cri ever built.
Well tell the audience what the stick force per g was. And tell them that is was light and not comparable to a a Cessna. Did you perform some stall tests?
Yes. It looks soooo easy and effortless in CAD. Every nail is spaced in perfect distance and everything alings always perfect... The reality. Small aircraft have higher tolerances. Small deviations left/right (e.g the flap slit) cause uncurable roll defiancies at high speed. Alingment in construction is important. Thin gauges of aluminium dent easily. The production is not easy in general, all thouh the parts are not heavy.
Excellent video, lose the heavy metal audio. Always fascinated by the Cri-Cri. You have increased my understanding of this complex little jewel of an aircraft. The animations of the various moving parts are admirable. This is a very useful & valuable document for the builder of the MC-15. The building plans for this craft are lengthy and complicated. Bravo!
EXCELENTE VIDEO, ME HACE NACER NUEVAS IDEAS DE COMO LA MECANICA LA PUEDO SIMPLIFICAR ROBUSTECER Y POR QUE NO SOFISTICAR Y PERSONALIZAR ❤ MUCHAS GRACIAS POR EL VALIOSO ESFUERZO .
please tell me, did you build the plane from cad files? I like the design of the cricri very much and am looking for a kit plane that i might actually build with a few friends. I could not find so far a place where 51% kits of a cricri are still sold and imagine it to by very hard to source the right grade of materials and prepare them all in your own workshop. Regards, Ruben
I was once offered a Cri-Cri with 2 German engines, The Gentleman had a small home and shop,, a friend of a friend,,he knew I loved aviation an decided to offer me something I never seen before ,,wow,,I,m thinking it's a large r/c ,soo small,,but like new condition. I declined a free Cri-Cri,,in running condition.,mabey because of the shock and being polite.Afterwards, my research of this aircraft I find it just amazing to be able to perform as it may. This Gentleman built a single seat 51%helicopter with a military turbine engine off a generator. I was called to see maiden flight ,unbelievable talent this older Gentleman had.☆thanks for sharing ☆
Congratulations Osvaldo, very nice work. Is it accurate to Cri-Cri plans ? Cri-Cri would be good UL plane, if use wing from next Colomban's design Luciole - it have bigger wing chord and wingspan.
The Cri-cri's very tricky to build, starting with the problem of finding suitable motors. The very small size means that tolerances are extremely tight. Just because it's small doesn't mean it's easy to build.
Agree - externally it looks very simple to my aircraft engineering eye. However...it IS French (I also maintained main French auto marques)...plans show BEAUTIFUL complication. ...but great if you are a keen builder. As for me ? It is DEFINITELY one twin I'd love to fly (bit different to my Super Kingair ✈😊
Although some of the original motors that were designed to fit are no longer produced, one motor that was designed for it, the solo 210 is still in production. Although under a different name. hirthaircraftengines.com/hirth-f36-single-cylinder-15-hp-aircraft-engine.html
It took me about three months to complete the work with the cri-cri, it is about to end for about three years, but at the request of the people, I have finished. My pc is a normal pc, only use a video accelerator card.
How about changing the design and placing the engines in the back, sort of like the A-10, and moving the pilot forward of the leading edge of the wings?
Send to my email the list of aeronautical plans that you have, at the moment I'm a little busy running two projects, one is the pa-18 piper and the other I can not talk yet, but when I finish them I'm going to need more plans To present them here, www.supercub.org/forum/showthread.php?52081-supercub-cad-3d
Thanks. You have done great job! How would you rate SW while doing this, any problems, bugs and so on? Im working in Creo Parametric, but thinking about shifting to SW, hate unnecessary complexity and complete lack of user-friendliness of Creo.. What is your opinion?
I've started using solidworks because of the advantage it offers you being able to create your pipe profiles, that's very important to me. Here is the video that enticed me to use solidworks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nN_00HcEPls.html -----3:43---- minutes
Now if only we could move the engines behind the cockpit, swap them out for some micro turbines, change the tail into a twin tail, and a BBBBBRRRRRTTTTTTT sound track we'd have a baby A-10 I could just about afford...
Bom dia .... muito bom trabalho... sou estudante em engenharia aeronáutica e gostaria reproduzi o MC 15 cri cri ... poderia mim dar uma ajuda por favor??? Preciso das plantas ...
Hello Friends. I would like to know if anyone could share the technical drawing of cri cri airplane ? I found a pdf file on the internet, but the "definition" is not good. The dimensions of airplane is not visible.
Hi ! I'm just starting construction of the Cri-Cri. I've been in contact with various other builders, like Wayne Butts, Nev Hays and another guy named Shannon from NZ who have been very helpful, and in frequent contact with Christian D. from here in Montana, who has been great, and whom I'm getting to know. Being that this is a fairly small fraternity, and we're more or less on our own here in the States after our legal apparatus so viciously and unfairly treated Michel Colomban, I wonder if you'd be willing to talk and collaborate? At the very least, I'd love to buy whatever you've got on the MC-15 that might help in our building efforts. Thanks ! Joe
Hi, good afternoon, I do not think there's any way I can help you. I think my help was to make the plane in cad-3d and make it available for download on the website GRABCAD. But I can not help you, sorry.
Brother collaborate with me we will make this, I’m very much fond of aviation since childhood. I also have a deep knowledge about airplanes n aerodynamic and it’s functions,
Why does everybody want plans for a plane they will never build.....that's why detailed plans costs so much.....to remind you that you spent good money on something you don't need and you can't afford to build let alone maintain, storage, insurance, local airport fees, etc...
Luchace Fox easy there my small petered friend..... nothing wrong with dreaming but if you want free prints go to Afford A Plane.com and you can download a set for less than $5.00 or go to Hummelbird.com and you can download one set for free.
Bug Bomb I used to build RC models and I'm researching some home build plans to build a full scale plane to actually fly. If I build it and something fails I have no one to blame but myself but I trust my own work .
I am busy developing the design of something very similar but in a hybrid construction of composite and wood, would you be interested in working on something like that? For the sake of presentation and examination of fit only? Flymachineart at gmail
