i dont want to analyse personalities but i feel like soobin has gotten so much more confident infront of the camera in comparison to before akong mc. ive heard from miracles that arin is the same. they make my fridays so much better kbs extend the contract.

What do people not understand? Music bank didn’t make Soobin and Arin trend. They did it themselves. They are the reason why music bank is such a big topic to kpop stans nowadays

They probably the most popular MCs, many idols mentioned them and be friend with them, they just have really good chemistry and make other comfortable, I feel Like Soobin genuinely interested in Kpop so he knows so many songs and learned the choreo

I don't know if I'm being biased but this duo had a really perfect chemistry for MCs. They both give off really bubbly yet chill auras and I feel like that's what's making everyone comfortable and bubbly around them

I think it's bcoz these two make quite a lot of witty remarks just out of the blue and can play around other artists as well. There have been previous MCs on music bank too who I liked but it always felt very formal tho. Like the intonation when they spoke and everything would feel very host-like but for the first time, with these two, we started seeing the seniors and fellow artists teasing and playing around with MCs but then the MCs also played along with them. So it felt a lot less scripted but more like just people having good time. Akong MCs are definitely special and I really wish their contracts actually extend.

The only pair that could go against their chemistry is probably golcha’s bomin and actress shin yeeun( who are the previous MC’s). They didn’t do as much adlibs as soobin and arin, but were very animated which made the lines they read out less cringey and awkward

There's always a possibility, the latest one lasted only 1 year but for example Solbin, Irene and MCs before them would last more than 1 year so we don't know I hope kbs and their companies talk it out and come to an agreement, they can't waste Mc Akong's impact.

The way Soobin said he used to feel nervous before entering the stage. Being an mc really helped build his confidence. He's so good at communicating with everyone, makes others feel comfortable and make the environment fun in general. He really grew a lot as an artist.

They aren't just MCs you know? The feeling of Fridays coming up, turning on the screen, sitting comfortably and watching these two it makes my week better. Honestly I watch the show for them because I don't care about the groups performing, of course I started to know rookie groups and stuff but it's just the program is special due to arin and soobin, so please, extend their contract at least one more year. These are the healing MCs that Music Bank needed. 💗🐰🐥💗

i dont follow kpop that much anymore, but even i know they really made a name of themselves as akong mc combo and probably stood as the most iconic mc pair together with bogum+irene. when they’re first announced as mcs i thought they’d make a good visual chemistry pair, but they exceeded way past just visual chemistry. they did their mc job really well, both of them👏👏

After the fiasco in twt I really miss them more. We use to have at least 3 to 4 days laughing and talking about the interactions but now it's always controversy and fight even tho I don't watch mubank anymore unless I like a specific group 😒 I don't understand why txt r always on kpoppies topics and soobin compared to every mc....pathetic

@@thugbin1562 well it was because they were close to promoting and unlike being an MC, a radio DJ is more tiring? cause usually Radio DJs do their job mid-late night? because that's when radios do the more famous segments like idol interviews etc plus with the idols' schedules being packed, they usually have time at night. So that plus promotion plus preparing for the new album -- it's a lot unlike Soobin who just gets everything done in what? an hour and a half?

I normally have a hard time watching music shows because the MCs tend to be really awkward or lack chemistry but Soobin and Arin work together so well and have fantastic chemistry. They are honestly such a joy to watch and I would love to see them more and definitely hope that their contract gets extended if that is something that they are both able to do, I know they must be busy with everything on top of being MCs.

Soobin chose the interview with txt as the most memorable interview he had on Musicbank. Of course it's because they are a group. But we can see how happy and excited Soobin is when he's interviewing txt. He's the most comfortable and can be more chaotic. I love seeing it.

To be honest, I’ve never really tuned into any music show to specifically watch the MCs but I look forward to Soobin & Arin every Friday. I’m curious, haven’t previous MCs on this show had good chemistry with each other or with guests or is this something truly different? UPDATE: Thanks everyone, this helps to understand what kind of impact Arin & Soobin are having. I totally understand why everyone is like “Extend their contract!!”, haha.

Yeah, me too. Before all 3 of my ultimate bias arin, minju, yujin became MC of music bank,music core and Inkigayo i never watch full episode of music show 😂 Now i watch all of them every week. But from all 3 i can say mc akong has the best chemistry 😎

MC Soobin is the only reason why I tune in to music shows, esp mubank. The reason why I could sing along to other artists songs. I have been watching and supporting MC Soobin since day 1. Extended contract or not. I am so proud of Soobin. Since TXT is preparing for a new album(source Taehyun from EBS fm listen last night) I hope he’s getting enough rest and staying healthy.

I hope that they will be able to be MCs under normal circumstances. Please extend their contract... They are doing their Best. Please give them that reward. They should at least get a chance to MC in front of their fans.

i always say this but i really really want them to stay as mcs for a long time, it’s clear they really enjoy it and the people they interview seem to have so much fun with them. please extend the contract or at least give us a stage collab kbs, i would like to see them dancing with other groups together before they leave

The thing that i like about Akong MCs is because they have this connection that I haven't seen before (maybe from irene and bogum) but aside from that one Soobin and Arin may be the standard for Music Shows. Hope they will stay longer! 💗💗
