Here's a simple recipe for classic hash browns:
Ingredients:
2-3 large potatoes, peeled
1 large onion, grated
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or oil
Instructions:
1. Grate the potatoes and onion using a box grater or food processor.
2. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, onion, garlic, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. Squeeze out excess moisture from the mixture using a paper towel or clean dishcloth.
4. Heat butter or oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
5. Add the potato mixture and press down to form a flat layer.
6. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
7. Flip and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
