So always curious why the dragon nymphs have bead chain eyes? Is this meant to be fished on a floating line and long leader? Would think you’d want unweighted for sinking lines (almost always using sinking lines for dragon nymphs)

Depends where/how you want to present the fly. We typically fish this one on a sinker crawling it right along the bottom.
