I lived in Germany when this song came out, I was 25 and you couldn’t go to a club without hearing this song time and again. And here it is 37 years later and this song takes me right back to Frankfurt and the bars in Sachsenhausen. Damn, that was some good times.
I just came across this song 2 months ago. Can't believe it didn't make it to the States😢 But there's just nothing like 80s rap anymore...rap back then told a story and you could understand most of the lyrics. Good rap ended with the 90s, today's rap sucks ass and all the young rappers try to sound exactly the same as each other plus autotuned. SKERRRRT....Racks on Racks on Racks.....With the exception of Migos, they're pretty cool.

We can't, it takes a special type of corny to have that courage to show us that feelings are ok. See back then people didn't mind being good but now because good makes people feel all funny inside they've dubbed it as mega corny so people don't have the courage to be corny in public anymore. The only thing is we didn't realize how much we actually like corny until corny was gone.

Estuve escuchando la radio, hace unos 5 meses atrás, hasta que sonó esta canción casi de la nada, creí que se trataba de la versión de Madonna hasta que pude reconocer que era otra versión gracias a Shazam. Esta gema tiene el poder de hechizar los oídos de lo movida y fresca que es, tranquilamente pudo ser lanzada unas décadas más tarde y sentirse igual de fresca. No soy fanático del hip hop, pero debo decir que los intérpretes dan cátedra de rap al sonar tan fluídos (creí en un inicio que eran norteamericanos y me llevé una grata sorpresa al saber que eran neerlandeses) y en un idioma que no es el materno. I did not see this episode of top of the pops when it was first broadcast. For years my favourite T.v shows were the repeats on b.b.c 4, they brought back memories. Two ladies can be seen in the background, they are dancing in white dresses. I think I recognise the brunette! I have this watched this video many times!
