MC+ Frequently Asked Questions 🤔 When will the pack be released? 📅 I am aiming for a December 24, 2024, release date. How much will it cost? 💵 The subscription will cost $0.99 USD per month. Is this pack for Java or Bedrock? 🖥 It is for Java and will only be available on that platform. What is the trial version? 🎁 The trial version will contain basic features from each category, including common retextures and overlays found in other large packs. Additionally, to comply with the EULA as closely as possible, any textures or assets that are closely modified from Mojang's vanilla assets will be completely free. Why is the pack a monthly subscription? 🔄 This payment model has been chosen to support the long-term development of the pack, including large updates and frequent patches. The features in the pack have taken many hours of effort to implement, so the $0.99 per month greatly helps support ongoing creation and improvements. Can I remove animated grass/foliage? 🍃 This will be added as an option when resource pack settings support is implemented through Respackops. For now, foliage animation is biome-based, for example it moves quickly in plains but not at all in caves. Isn't the resource pack against the EULA? 📜 Paid resource packs have been done many times before. The EULA specifically mentions mods, and it does not include resource packs, data packs, skins, or worlds under the rule against selling for money. Additionally, the EULA states, "We have the final say on what constitutes a Mod and what doesn't," meaning that Mojang determines how to define these different types of content. I can't buy the pack. How can I get it? 🛒 There will be a trial version with reduced features. Although not confirmed, I plan on adding an alternative payment method. For example, if you get 5 new members on the Discord server, I can give you one free month of subscription. Can you make the pack free? 🙌 No, the full pack won't be free. The subscription fee helps fund ongoing development and updates, enabling me to improve the pack and maintain its quality. I appreciate your understanding! Do I keep what I pay for? 💾 Yes, even after you cancel the subscription, you keep whatever versions of the pack you downloaded. However, to access downloads and updates, you will need to be subscribed.
So this reply generated a lot of traction over the past few days because I saw a cool comment that reminded me of 4chan so I made a joke about it while everyone else thought I was complaining. For this reason I decided to edit it off so that no more of the brainrotted degenerates of modern RU-vid will have their minds overloaded by their dopamine response to humor. Have a great day.
@@heerosefffinchannel5387 No, they stated that the rule apparently doesnt go against resource packs, plus it still complies because there is a trial version, similarly to the Physics Mod, but unlike that mod, none of the cooler features will come to the trial
@@kyleyoung2464 I don’t see how that makes it “crappy” is a strong choice of words, and THR problem with this is that the foliage moves at the same time, so itmooos really odd
@@umamifan yeah but the thing with chamber of reflection is that he just played the lick on piano, without sampling. That's odd, pretty courageous concept, if you think about it
Please please please for the love of god rethink the subscription model and maybe consider doing a patreon where there will be patreon-exclusive features. I will happily pay for the full release, however a minecraft resource pack is not something I want to have in the back of my mind as a monthly reoccurring payment. :)
I was thinking about this a few days ago "What if grass and leaves had the same wave effect as Underwater grass" And here it is I should be scared. probably.
Having a sense of movement brings life and ambiance to the game and prevents the feeling of a big empty sandbox that makes minecraft feel dead and boring. Great work with this, cannot wait to use it myself.
This looks great but should be called out. Resource packs are mods, paywalling them (with a subscription model out of all things) is not only against the EULA but most importantly what this entire community stands for.
I never really thought that putting stuff behind a paywall is bad, its a bit annoying yes but it shouldnt be against the eula, not to mention the fact that BEDROCK already does this, it has a MARKETPLACE, like bruh, so no, i dont think its a problem if someone who spent a while on a mod or a resourcepack puts it up for a cost, they worked to make something for you, and most of the time, with nothing in return.
@@3h0mps it has a marketplace because the revenue also goes to microsoft/store apps and it has strict rules designed by microsoft this is against the eula because you're making money off someone else's game and keeping all the revenue to yourself
@@3h0mps The whole point of modding is that it's something that is free and never paid. Bedrock marketplace is bad and never should have happened and everyone who know what modding is truly about agrees. People make mods knowing that they won't make money as its about the community not profits. If modders really want money even though they chose to go into something that is clearly not about money then they can create some separate optional donation link for people who want to show appreciation.
I can't wait for this to be out just for the possibilities of ambience videos that might use it. I absolutely love the sound of the weather; it's so relaxing.
Just the kind of resource pack i really needed.. a 'small' change that makes a big difference. looking forward to playing Minecraft with this! honestly, it looks so good!
@@MR_CHOO_07do you plan to do this for 1.19.2? Id love to add this to my horror modpack, even tho it’s not a mod, so glad I saw this video, I’ll be waiting to use it, even if it doesn’t come for 1.19.2
Mods like this makes me wish I had a Good Functioning Laptop that can run Minecraft smoothly... Man im so gonna get a part time job (Oh yeah can't wait for the release, keep up the good work 👍).
Everything about this resource pack is great, from the sandstorms, winter, rain, foggy chunk load and different biome colours, the mangrove one is soo dark, it’s even scary at night. Tho, I gotta say that It’s better than realism craft, I’m more of a java player myself. I liked how you add fireflies for the swamp while mojang failed to implement them.
It's an art. I review and review this video, I can't stop enjoying it, this music, these sounds, these angles, they relax, enchant, soothe, I'm really looking forward to this resource pack, the author you are a ray of happiness for us.
If there is a way too, you might want to look into adding 3D Perlin noise for the animations for grass and leaves so it wont look as uniform. (This is just a person opinion) Edit: Asked around and found out it was not possible to add into a resource pack :(
This is awesome. Please add more ambient effects like those in the Realismcraft addon for Bedrock. E.g meteor showers / shooting stars in the sky, birds flying across the sky, small swirly wind effects in the air, rainbows after storms etc.
lovely! i like when such cool stuff go as a recourcepack. even if you will not support it, like Doctor4t unsupported waterfall mod, it still may work on a newer versions.
Top marketing here, came here for the download, and seeing this won't be until late october or later makes me want to try it even more, alreaddy subbed, wishing to see more of it!
Beautiful resource pack though, is it planned to be Bedrock or Java? i'm doing a private modpack with friends, trying it to be the most immersive minecraft experience and this resource pack fits so damn well
I think you should add more intense movement for grasses/leaves when there is rain or storm. It’s a lot cooler to be able to see how raindrop and strong wind affect the grasses/leaves.
I feel like Dynamic surroundings and Ambient Sounds with this pack Will make minecraft probably the most beautiful game It will probably even be more beautiful with this shader pack I have installed
Few Things for those that have not joined the discord (maybe pin this comment) THE PACK IS PLANNED TO RELEASE DECEMBER 24, 2024 The Pack will have a free and paid version, with the paid being $0.99 a month, and the free having less features. It is for Java Latest Version, not bedrock It is compatible with Shaders and a lot of mods, but overall replaces a lot of mods. The resource pack works on things like Polytone and some other mods if your wondering how this is possible. I copied this from the shorts vid since it did help some people about some stuff, since most of the comments are questions
@@Ogbudka-r9o No need to be mean. Different shaders all do it differently and can be customised, a catch-all of "shaders look like shit" can't apply here
Could you adapt it on bedrock? i understand this probably has to use a client mod like optifine, as minecraft does not have dependancies required for texture pack driven particles, and on bedrock this can be done with add ons. If you decide to do so, Fused's Falling Leaves does something simmilar, so it would be a good idea to disect that and see how it's done. Outside of that it's just fog, animated textures and rotating the texture of rain and snow, 100% possible. Please, this looks Rly cool. the only thing not possible here is bushy leaves, but that's not needed for this to be gorgeous. Also, if you decide so, you can make a bit ofmoney off of that using MCPEDL's or Modbay's support of redirection links (i suggest linkvertise, the other ones usually don't work and block access to the file, sometimes even requiring you to download spyware apps). Again, MCPEDL or Modbay, NOT the marketplace, where your content is owned by microsoft, and can be easily stolen, while you get a comparable amount of money to the links.
People talk about how this is only acquired through a subscription but fail to mention that this has been done for years now with shaderpacks and texturepacks already, and for MUCH more than $1. Look up any x128 or higher pack and most ray-tracing/path-tracing shaders like seus.
Amazing pack! If possible, I know people would love if you release it like Vanilla Tweaks so you can add or remove texture changes etc. to your liking!
@@Orca4YTthat happens on the custom avatars you can make yourself with separate clothing items, but if you use a skin like ones you can download or make yourself, it won’t look like the frog thing
Im kindof mad how java edition can get all this but for bedrock edition there bearly eny good one i wish bedrock was more like java this is why i hate bedrock edition sometimes ngl i wish thay just make java edition playable on mobile instead of creating bedrock
The only fanmade launcher I know rn is pojavlauncher and that can run Java Edition on mobile (that if you have a good enough device to play higher version)
I am not sure about this but i think that the reason they created bedrock is because java had crappy coding (because of notch who had self taught himself), so they recoded the entire game, which is now bedrock, and also that's the reason why it's not laggy, like java.
Regarding the EULA part this prolly would work if all textures were fully custom made by yourself but some are obviously edited from mojang's default originals right? (and not much either - short grass for exmaple is pretty much just a few edited pixels away from the original) so charging for these would technically be breaking eula again no? That said this looks really nice!! I love the added mood you can feel in each scene even when its just simple smaller changes they definitely add up :)
Wait a minute, this looks clean!! Its so vanilla and yet so new, its has this indie game feel to it, i play Minecraft on vanilla and 0 mods/texturpacks because i like the original game texture But i might actually try this one out, I really like how it looks
