Some extra things to add for those curious, this mod replaces any newly generated villagers in your world with these kind but you can change this in the config so it’s an even amount of normal and modded ones, there’s also a voice over option in the config and a AI chatting feature which allows you to roleplay with your townsfolk for those into that
by default this villages has some guards for defense or only the ones manged by player have them? I kinda wanted to built and expand one and then go raiding others but Idk if I should also add the Villager guards mod
@@TexYMatt98the villages automatically have guards, and if you commit crimes in villages the residents will remember you if you come back, guards will attack you and the villages may even hire mercenaries to hunt you down or raid your village too
That procreation animation LOL let it riiiiiiiiiip! Honestly tho it's crazy how far MC modding has come since the days of like... Mob Talker and Millenaire etc.
As you probably know, you can’t drop the baby when it’s an item in your inventory. But there’s a loophole. You can put it in a block with storage and break that block to drop the baby onto the ground, where you can do whatever with it. Like slipping with a lava bucket. You can also cook it in a furnace. (Don’t ask how I know these things) I really love modded Minecraft content
I'd really like a mod similar to this but more vanilla-like. Basically a mod that just gives villagers a bit more of a personality and allows you to talk to them, but without this complete reskin and all that. Unfortunately, I haven't found such a mod yet.
The configuration file of this mod allows you to change whether to use the vanilla models and sounds of the villagers, while maintaining the rest of the mechanics.
WELL ACTUALLY! You can translate ancient Siberbs book. (i did it, still not much. Just a mod lore about siberbs. But you guys and girls can translate it too.)
I had this mod, and while it was great, I hated interacting with my villagers cause I would talk to them and apparently I clicked one too many interactions with them and then they would constantly insult me. Like why would I want to be neighbors with villagers that blatantly insult me when I only talked with them twice? It just got irritating to the point I just installed it. I would love it if the mod creators would tweak the villager interactions and make it to where talking to them doesn’t lead to being insulted, heck my ‘husband’ insulted my looks and my ‘daughter’ cried all because I wanted to give them my time of day in my busy Minecraft life.
There is also an issue. If you come across a zombie village in peaceful, you can come across the zombie villagers. They don't attack you but they will burn and attack other villagers. This is because in vanilla Minecraft, zombie villagers still spawn in peaceful but will despawn after you load in the chunks. But they don't despawn in MCA. Found that out by accident and spent well over an hour figuring out why haha.
I guess its a thing of the mods code but at least it gives you a oportunity to have a extra villager or in a way, revive the whole village so i wouldn't mind that at all xD (specially as villagers can still defend themselves decently if they have no weapons or armor)
I'm wondering how old the child has to be to work because I remember the original version of this mod you could have them start working from a very young age and there was even a mechanic where the children would leave you if you put them to work too hard, a runaway mechanic type deal.
@@Janita_S anything can be too Op in this game, they should at least make it configurable, I hope someone makes an add-on that changes this. That was kind of one of my favorite parts of the original mod was the child labor lol. But in all seriousness, when I had very limited exposure to the mod way back in the day, I have a very fond memory of fishing with the tiny guy, I forgot his name.
Pretty sure you can have them work when they a teenager or before that (like the height of a block at best, can't remember) altough i think you can still give them a weapon and armor for self defence when they can start to walk around on their own xD
@@Gary-sf6bt have u played this new version? Idk if its for me because I kinda want to attack other neighboring villages but I read here that u can't kill villagers 😥
@@TexYMatt98you can still attack and kill villagers but keep in mind they would FIGHT back and guards would come in if they nearby wich they very much would destroy you if you have no armor xD, wich also since iron golems can also be around, they also would be there to beat the shit out of you, so yeah, fighting the villagers wouldn't be to ideal as they do are efficient un combat specially the archers xD
i love using this mod with magic mods or things similar (ex: with mahou tsukai, you can make a sword stronger [morgan] by killing villagers) so that i can slaughter my friends beloved ones for more power. plus making a massacre to characters with backstories makes it feel even better.
Considering how both og mod (that stopped at 1.12.2) and minecolonies were around at the same times, i guess the share some similar stuff nowdays, while on the og only had the different villagers and the other stuff but not the villager managing system or specifc jobs that offer unique stuff (on the og their jobs would only affect their trading items or how they behave around the player in case of hostile villager and guards with both swords and bows) with both og and reborn being able to work well with minecolonies makes it funny trying to make both colonist and villagers not race to use a bed xD or have a colony around a village)
@@Quin_BNK Say for example though, you're using another mod that has compatibility with MCA, but requires you to kill villagers to proceed in the mod...What then?
There pretty much alot of tutorials, all mods work the same way in installing, you will require of course a mod folder in the minecraft directory and from the you install the mods of the version you play at, some mods might require another mod to work, in most cases will tell you in the mod page wich one is require if not, minecraft will tell you when trying to launch the game with the mod installed, this is a pretty much a summary how mods are installed and/or work in java, if you still unsure how its done there are tutorials outthere in youtube that explain it in detail, just remember that some mods would only work on the game version you download the file from, for example this mod has different game version downloads to choose to download, on this its up to you wich version you want to play
Well this mod being a reborn for the og version that stopped at 1.12.2, will very likely still been updated until the mod makers stop or similar, additions wise, im not sure but i think they do have a discord server in wich suggestions can be made, im not 100% sure but maybe in there you can find info about it
Kinda of both as its a succesor of the old mod of 1.12.2 and below versions, the successor still has the functions of vanilla villagers in the tradding (execpt the one you married with wich obviously would disable the tradding with that villager you married with only to you, same goes to your kids, other players could still trade with that villager you married with or kids
The mod does add unique buildings you can build but natural spawned they still use vanilla villages, unless you have a mod that changes that, unless its a change made recently from last time i play back in 1.18.0/1.19.0 around there xD
@@NekoKarlo i think you can't marry multiple villagers at once, but yeah, a army of children with netherite armor and gear would be a nightmare for sure, sure will be a bit of a problem have them around in the end or nether for obvious reasons of how npcs behave, but in the overworld would be a challenge to take you down with a army like that xD as far i am aware they try to defend you if you being attacked and of course they can defend themselves very well on their own with vanilla mobs or some mod mobs if those attack first (of course they wouldn't have a chance to high damage ones tough)
I don't think so, considering how different the code its for bedrock and also the marketplace being the only place bedrock can have mods, so i doubt it would be posible to make it work unless the mod creators make a deal with microsoft to somehow have the mod in, wich would probably still cost money, other than that, i don't think it would be posible
Interact with them, then to locations and set home, after that they would teleport/go to the spot it is set their home when it starts to be night and use any aviable bed to sleep, otherwise thet would sleep standing up
Can anyone tell me if its possible to build rooms or buildings in a vertical manner for the village, for example if i were building a room or buildings in/on/around a mountain, where they are on a different level, would that work or do they have to be built on the same "horizontal plane" so to speak? thanks
Names are randomise (and you can edit their names with the villager editor), i think the names would depend of wich language you play the game at, while the mod its in english as far i am aware, as last time i played most villagers had english names even tough i was playing in sphanish
Both og and the reborn work well in multiplayer, spouses can still follow other players but they can't steal them love wise if they already married to a player (or npc) players can't trade with their spouses or kids but other players can to them, as far i am aware there shouldn't be any issues in mp unless there are mods that also change how villagers behave, so far i am aware the colony mod and this one work fine together without issues other than both villager and colonist having to race each other on using a bed (and also of making a colony on a village of course for obvious reasons of space taken)
Im pretty sure might be languaje setting or that the mod makers are serbian's altough last time i played the mod it had english names when i was playing in sphanish, either way, you can edit the names with the villager editor item xD
