McAllen Shines campaign deputizes Fields students | McAllen ISD 

The McAllen Shines Campaign began in spring 2024 with the mission to empower students to take pride in a clean environment. Students are reviewing the difference between trash and recyclables while doing their part to maintain a clean school, a clean home and a clean city. McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos "deputized" each student and presented them with their own badge. This happened at McAllen ISD's Fields Elementary on May 29, 2024.
