I think my pruritus is due to histamine caused by intestinal parasites, which have caused leaky gut...and that the parasites are present due to heavy metals. I have been trying to address all of these issues for 10 years. I've intentionally placed parasites in stool samples that yield a negative test result. I have taken supplements for leaky gut, parasites (including prescription meds), and metal removal for years. Most doctors are clueless. Have also tested for allergies. My diet is pretty clean--organic, gluten-free, natural foods. What am I to do?! I have had extensive (and expensive) testing. Do you know how to deal with parasites?
