To summarize some ideas discussed here: We classify salts as either soluble or insoluble based on their ability to dissolve in water. Soluble salts dissociate completely into their ions, while insoluble salts do not dissolve significantly. However, some salts that are labeled as "insoluble" actually dissolve to a very small extent, leading to a state of dynamic equilibrium between the dissolved ions and the undissolved solid. These salts are referred to as sparingly soluble salts, and their behavior can be analyzed using the solubility product constant (Ksp). The Ksp provides a quantitative measure of the equilibrium concentration of ions in solution and allows us to predict the extent to which these salts will dissolve under different conditions.

For the vapor pressure question at 36:48 how did you get the total mole count of 3? Thank you for your amazing explanations!

1/3 = .33 but the reason she got that was because she there was one mole of butane and the mole fraction requires (mol/ total mol) so to get total mol you add butane with hexane. hexane was 2 moles. so 1+2=3 and u get 1/3 for your mole faction for butane and 2/3 for hexane.
