Happy Halloween. Since my daughter was little we let her have 2 or 3 pieces that night and save the rest for another time. We have also donated some to send over seas. Enjoy the night with your kids.

My son decided one year to save his Halloween candy & he put it in the freezer. When his Birthday rolled around in February he asked me to take him to the “Orange Store.” After many questions I finally asked him what he wanted to BUY at the Orange store. He said, “I wanna use my birthday money to buy some WOOD to build a candy stand.” Entrepreneur in the making. That kid was always trying to sell stuff! 😂😂 He’s now a Doctor of Physical Therapy & still sells stuff, managing his money. 😂🎉❤ When he was 10, He bought shoe cleaner he saw at the fair, came home, asked me to help him make business cards & then went around the neighborhood advertising his shoe/purse/leather jacket cleaning services. 😂 He wanted to sue Jamba Juice when he was 9 for “stealing his idea” because they built a store in the exact location that he envisioned wanting to put “a store where we can mix up a bunch of fruits & vegetables into a blended drink & sell it to people.” He was seriously SO angry because he truly believed they stole his idea, poor kid. He still comes up with great ideas, that guy! Your Halloween candy triggered a flood of memories from his childhood so thank you for that journey down my memory lane! ❤

Hahahahaha 😂 so cute they are so lucky your kids, parents now a days are so strick. In my days back in the 80s when I was a small kid we came home went to bed late ate lots of candies but then my dad would hide the candies for the rest of the year🤦♀️. My 9 year has off from school the next day so he's pretty lucky as well, he gets to trick or Treat and come home late and watch a Halloween movie and eat lots of Candy . Happy Halloween to you guys 🎃

You are 100% correct. Let the kids be kids and check that candy, taste test it and get on the candy kick with them. Lol My kids are sweet they know momma's favorite candy and they are always slipping me pieces. It's so fun, it's one night they can be what ever they want. I honestly get excited cause after holidays, I buy all the candy 70% off to last till next holiday. Heheheheh
Such fun. Just a little suggestion. When you give the kids sugar give them a zero sugar drink mixed with water (cordial). It’ll make the sugar rush come down quicker.
Matt, next year on Halloween weekend, find yourself a KOA Holiday Campground. Haunted hay rides, bouncy houses, worry free trick or treating, camp fires, and s’mores. Make memories my friend.
