Your tractor is absolutely gorgeous. The wife and I purchased a B275 that has been mistreated for many years. I'm hoping we can restore it. We will start posting videos of the journey so that others can help us fix it as we are by no means experts in any of it. I can watch videos, turn wrenches, and use paint cans. It will never look as good as yours does, but we also plan on using it to bush hog, and maintain the 3/4 mile dirt road of a driveway that goes thru 4 parcels of land.
Good to hear another one being saved, don't know if you are on Facebook but we have one or two groups on there, international 3 & 4 cylinder tractors, international owners are two, although predominantly UK members we do have a few of our American cousins on there, very helpful members on there when it comes to the more technical things, good luck with the project
bufferbridge Don't blame you. Remember a video where some mag. pitted a taxi-driver's knowledge against a SatNav to see who landed first at some place. The SatNav fell off the windscreen!
If I am not wrong this engine was used in Mahindra Jeeps of diesel version during late 1970s up to early 1990s in our country India by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Bombay.
I notice the lever for the parking brake is like the later model (about 1963 and up) B414 tractors with larger brakes. Is that the original rear end on your tractor or did IH build it that way?
