Jazz has always been and still is more appreciated in Europe than it is here - these were some of the most progressive players on the planet. When will we wake up? Not only musically; also politically and spiritually.
Just awesome. It is very sad that most of these great jazz legends are no longer with us. I'm glad though that there are still folks like me who really enjoy and appreciate their music.
McCoy's groups are always inspiring. Always a powerful performance. For me, McCoy is the greatest jazz pianist ever. I know that is a bold statement but very few are in his class.
+Kuba Kotowicz-- If he uses witch mallets then he must be either very superstitious or into some kind of weird supernatural shit....... if any player hits a bum note it's the Ducking Stool for them :)
@@tunefultonyjohnson4100 And if they float? I say, old Pram, your references are a tad bit too obscure for this crowd, and for a Pythonite (high standards eh wot?), it was a bit awkwardly rendered, if a laugh is was what you were after. I almost tittered. ha... ha... 28.5 out of possible 200 for trying though, 39,973 out of 200 for being a Python fan.
