I had a Pro Mac 60 that I liked very well, but the lack of a chain brake, no vibration damping, and the weight of the thing made it harder and harder to use as I got older. When a large cherry tree rolled on it and broke some parts, I reluctantly retired it after looking unsuccessfully for parts and got a modern 60cc saw. Your 700 looks very nice.
Beautiful saw, I've got a promac 700 ,had 30 plus yrs ,I hold the pull start out couple of inches when stopping as the engine pulls on the cord when stopping, chainsaw guy showed that trick to reduce wear on the cord ,don't know if all Macs do that ??
