McDonald's Commercials - 1978 to 1979 

McDonalds had a great advertising campaign in the 70s, the height of the burger chain's popularity

I remember seeing all these commercials from TV when there were cartoon line ups. It's funny how there were so many different characters then, now a days you don't even see Ronald anymore.

The fry gobblers sound just like Alvin and the chipmunks. I just love these fry gobblers.

I like how the person managed to remaster the music in the sundae commercial.

A Star Trek The Motion Picture tie-in? Now that's something I didn't expect to see.

I like how the meteor ad breaks the fourth wall with the narrator, that was pretty creative.

It's strange how in the picture commercial the goblins/Fry guys just do nothing at all, they're just posed puppets.

The BEST McDonald's actor lineup, EVER... Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Mayor McCheese, the ORIGINAL Hamburglar, Officer Mac, the Professor, the Fry Kids, Captain Pirate and Birdie. Getting rid of and changing these characters was cheapness, stupid and total bullshit on McDonald's part.
