JESUS CHRIST LMAO. "I'll get to the window really fast" and I'm imagining all the girl clerk sees is you take off and hears a loud crash and then hear you yell... "THAT WAS BLOODY FAST"
I've met now my husband 5 years ago. Our love for motorbikes connected us and soon after we have seen your video. Your "happy meal still happy" turned into our little phrase "Still Happy". When I have passed my full bike licence, he gifted me custom wooden keyring for my big bike with engraved "Still Happy" on it. 5 years later, the little saying is still with us. Even we have mentioned it on our wedding speeches lol call it sad, but thank you for making this so special and rememberable!
RidingWithTom Pizza would be freaky coz I'd be afraid the box would catch the wind and fly off instantly! I guess you could one hand the bike and just hold the pizza on the tank.
They wont serve you in the UK on an bike.. Not the one near me anyway sent me away!! So I did a big burnout in the car park! Ok no I didnt but thought about it!! LOL
Lamb Chop Rides Denial of service for no reason (it isn't signposted that bikes aren't allowed, right?) Would really like to see that footage! I go through the drive-thru at my local maccas at least once a week. In 5 months, only one girl has ever remarked that she didn't think bikes were allowed through the drive-through, the rest were all either briefly surprised at first (one young bloke was super excited because he loved bikes) or nonplussed, it's not something they see every day surely :P
I contemplated going through maccy d's (UK slang) yesterday on my z1000 but was unsure of the complexity and logisical issues i might face. i found your video very insighful and informative and now feel i can collect my happy meals in record time from now on. (hopefully beating the other kids to getting the best toy first) i normally always get the rubbish one that doesnt do anything. sad times. :( anyway you sir are a legend!
Basically it changes the throttle body opening ratio to the throttle grip. Kinda like "Sport Mode" on BMW cars. Instead of the throttle being only open to 75-80% with the pedal all the way down, in sport mode it's open 100% with no restriction really.
***** I'm not sure why you'd want less ABS and TC "intrusion" while racing. Seems that you'd want more, so you can trail-brake and power-out of the corners while leaned over more. But the main thing is that the systems have to be operating in a linear manner (as opposed to say 2nd-order) in a range around certain set-points which are based on the settings. Like, assuming the tires can support 0.7g on wet roads, 0.8g for sport treaded tires, and 0.9 for slicks.
"What am I going to do with this neck warmer?" - lol you can't tell me that wasn't planned to save you some editing later =D I hope that Mazda driver in the drive-thru was wearing their brown pants as you hurtled towards them.
Deathmatch1993 Not really, any motorcycle can be shifted without using the clutch. Just need to apply gentle pressure to the shifter and blip the throttle and it pops right into the next gear.
It's not super hard. You just need to find the sweet spot, as my dad puts it. My dad never uses the clutch on his Harley when he shifts up. He only really uses it to downshift.
4. Power Mode: Slick (coding plug required to be inserted): Full power with an aggressive and instant throttle response. * The braking force is applied to both front and rear wheels (partially integral brakes) * ABS does not operate when only foot brake is used * No rear wheel lift detection * Wheelies allowed up to a lean angle of 23 degrees and for up to 5 seconds
I used to work at a super dodgy used car yard down the street from this Macca's and I can 100% confirm that its drive-thru is not intended for bikes. Good on RidingWithTom for going down it on his S1000RR. He is indeed a man among men!
I've seen the whole drive through on a bike thing before. What I haven't seen is anyone try to take it home on an s1000RR in slick mode. You sir, have earned another subscriber. o7
took a Mate 7 hrs once to get through a drive through in Makky ds mind you he did try and take a 4x4 with a 22 ft caravan on the back lol as you can imagine we reguarly take the piss out of him every time we see a Makky ds lol
Motovlogger challenge: You must go to your nearest Mcdonalds and purchase a happy meal and get it home safely without the help of a backpack or satchel. I would love to see more motovloggers issue each other challenges such as the this one. Best of luck guys and hope you all try it and upload.
your AU McDonalds are so fancy. A huge plot of land, long covered fancy driveways with plants and shit, wow, upscale. Kind of weird seeing the window on the right side though.
my first time watching one of your videos and paused it just to laugh my ass off for how you got to the 2nd window... credit where credit is due and you found yourself another subscriber
4:30 this is actually what BMW puts on their tech specs sheet. That number is not a representation of its 0-100, it describes the 0-happy meal time...true story.
Okay let's do this *puts slick mode on* *proceeds to rev up bike* *when rev up bike it does a wheelie without any help* OH MY SWEET JESUS THIS THING CAN FLY *proceeds to play i Believe i can fly*
Dude every time I watch one of your videos I feel like I'm watching District 9 because you sound exactly like the main character from that movie. I keep expecting a Prawn to pop out in front of you LOL
It's not about track times it's about drive through times - sub 10s!!! I love how you said to the cashier, 'I'm gonna get to the next windows really fast!!" I'm sure she was like dafuk? Haha You've just gained yourself a new sub!! Boooom!
I just put the fries between my legs and the burger in my left hand when riding my bike. open my face shield, pull the helmet down just enough and, yum.
From what I have heard it pretty much just sharpens the throttle response a bit and maybe dampens the ABS a little. Nothing major, but just in general will sharpen up the bikes feed back.
Dan Martin it reduces ABS and traction control all around and completely disables ABS at the rear wheel for lots of spinning when you're at a drag strip or the like.
