Where once review bruh was thought of as silly for wearing a suit to review fast food, now it's perfectly reasonable considering how expensive even McDonald's has gotten. Well done sir, truly a forward thinking man.
I cant believe it Reviewbrah! I cannot believe they brought back the spicey McNuggets. Next thing you know they'll be bringing back the McRib sandwich.
I remember mcpizza. It was the lousiest ingredients (I'm sure they used katsup for the sauce) but arranged with scientific perfection to actually be tasty.
Putting the spice in the breading is the only way! I noticed a few years ago spicy chicken sandwiches at most fast food seemed to change to a sauce, and its never as good
@@MattBailzi once spent weeks tweeting at the wendy’s account to bring back the spicy chicken salad. there is absolutely no fast food salad on earth that comes anywhere close to that. they never did bring it back. they made some bastardized jalapeño chicken version for awhile but it wasn’t as good and they dropped it anyways. it’s been YEARS and i still think of that damn salad.
Good thing i live in the UK, Chicken selects have never left the menu and are a permanent item. They are just way better than the nuggets because they are not reformed chicken but chicken breast.
I can just picture it, standing on the edge of a cliff, fast food flying by him on every side, posture erect and resilient, one hand over his heart and the other with the nastiest burger you can imagine in front of his face as if he is about to venture a bite, his face equal parts hope and resignation.
It's a little bit more orange because that's the color of the spice. The spice extends life, the spice extends consciousness, the spice is vital to space travel...
I really appreciate ReviewBrah's attention to detail. No place else would you find an analysis of both the price and taste of spicy nuggets over the years. The man is a true professional.
As the price goes down, the level of plastic and recycled waste in the food rises. Look at China now with their unlabeled synthetic "meat". That's gonna be us in 10-15 years.
I recommend having them with the Pure Honey, instead of any of their manufactured sauces. The sweet with the mild heat of the nuggets compliment each other nicely.
As a McDonald’s worker, I would have known if these were coming back before the general public did, but this time, I didn’t. It could be that the spicy nuggets are back at participating locations. As my location doesn’t have them, I can only guess my company has chosen not to carry them.

These are great, also bring them back every year here in europe and it's one of the best products on the McMenu. Wish they kept them as a standard product.
The McRibs are made from a formed pork slurry just as McNuggets are made from a formed chicken slurry. So they’d be fairly straightforward and easy to make.
Spicy usually equates to the amount of capsaicin in a dish. Though I would prefer it to be the amount of traditional spices in a dish. Black, white, red, green, or long peppercorns, coriander, allspice, cinnamon, etc. in a dish. Most hot peppers aren't technically spices.
Burger Kings spies are engaged to figure out how to make the same item taste the same. Oh... It requires work and supply chain management... never mind.
As an ex Taco Bell employee fast food places do this to get people in the door that haven't been to the establishment for a while an an attempt to get them hooked again. Every time the cheesy gordita crunch came back business nearly doubled and a lot of people we didn't recognize would show up. The funny thing is that every ingredient on the cheesy gordita crunch is available at any time. A lot of the employees would make them for eachother but we weren't able to sell them to customers. One shift I was working nights and it was near closing and the lobby was closed so I was running the drive-thru and doing food prep while the manager was doing paperwork and an attractive woman and her friend (who were clearly drunk) offered to show me their breasts if I made them each a cheesy gordita crunch. I just rang them up as two beef nacho cheese gordita supremes and went over to make them (they have basically the same ingredients other than the taco shell) and gave them to them and VOILA! Two sets of breasts with one being a C and the other set a D lol!!! The driver offered to let me touch hers but I heard the office door open so I thanked them and promptly closed the window and acted busy wiping the counter lol.
I see Reviewbrah upgrades the napkin for most of this. McDonalds paper napkins are nasty! Fr what they charge for this stuff, I can have a freshly prepared chicken parmigiana w/pasta, salad & drink, with unlimited refills @ Roman's for under $10. These days, McDonalds is over priced trash! My dog wouldnt eat those nuggets. Thanks for tak8ng another one for the team, Reviewbrah!

I’m just waiting for one of these fast food companies to realize “hey, if we substantially lower our prices while maintaining or even improving quality, we’ll bring in a shitload of customers!” The prices for fast food is absurd if one of the major companies just made it their slogan that they’re cheaper now it’d become a hit
i always order 3 mcdoubles with extra mac sauce no veggies and 3 mcchickens with extra mac sauce no veggies and a large french frys when i go there and ask for a few ranch packs to pour on the food and dip the frys in

The changing of the fry oil to a vegan version did affect the flavor a bit. I think most of us have become so accustomed to McDonald’s going down hill, that we just try to hope for the best and the fry oil is the least of it.
I’m just gonna say it. The McNuggets, along with McDonald’s beef patties, have become drastically thinner over the past 4 years, noticeably. When I bit into a nugget for the first time since 2020, I laughed out loud. Upon taking a bite of a Big Mac, I noticed the patty appeared to be paper thin compared to what I remembered. Upon comparing the patty in the McDouble to the Big Mac, they are now the same size, the exact same patty used in either sandwich, and their circumference is also less than the circumference of the sandwich’s buns, which have also shrunk to the point that it’s obvious. It’s unacceptable. I’m not buying McDonald’s again until they fix it.
Having worked at McDonalds in the early eighties and again recently I can say with reality that you are wrong. The big mac and the small burgers have always used the same size patties, a patty size called 10/1. 1.6 ounce patties. That has not changed since the introduction of the Big Mac.
Solid reporting as always. One point of contention; no one says "Bra", just "Brh". "Brrr-UhhH" even perhaps. They didn't have room to drop quality anymore, but the realization that if they just make them spicy you can't tell how awful they are is real 4D chess move for sure. The price drop leverages their expectation that the main thing holding back the nuggs from capturing more of the market is the fact that they are hot garbage. Real missed opportunity though, if they threw into the carton a little 2 ounce bottle of absolut cranberry vodka or fireball whiskey they probably would have to build whole new factories just to keep up with the demand since the main function of that stuff is to impair an otherwise reasonable person's judgement.
When he says "going in" before tasting a product, I always thought it was a metaphor. The introductory part of the video was like standing at the doorway of a building, and eating was entering the door and going into an experience of the food product. But today I thought maybe it's meant to be more literal, the food is going into his mouth.
Here in California the prices have probably jumped significantly since the minimum wage for fast food workers went up to $20 per hour. Prices were already going up quite a bit for the last few years anyway .
@@GabrielleDelphia-yf8wh went to Wendy's the other day after not having been in a few years. They changed the breading on their nuggets too. They're not good anymore either. Restaurants are changing the quality badly but quadrupling the price. Nuggets use to be 5 for $1 and amazing at Wendy's. Now it's 5 for $4 and taste not worth $1.
Popcorn? Are you serious? 😮 I haven't eaten McDonald's since before I left on a Thanksgiving vacation last year that lasted six months due to an accidental flood costing us our former apartment. Now we have a new house thanks to friends, but this is disappointing and shocking to hear...
