Hot Toys looks nothing like him either. Pretty clear at this point that Affleck didn't approve merchandising rights for this film. So they can't use his likeness
Just when my Wednesday couldn't get worse, a Chris' Custom Collectible comes around to make my evening relaxing before nap time!! Not sure why but, when I hear McFarlane, my weak mind instantly goes to Family Guy! LOL I have so many projects to do and something always comes up and takes my time!!!
That Batfleck costume was one of the highlights of the film. It was bitter sweet knowing this would be first and the last time I would see it on screen.
This makes it 1 million times better! Even makes the sculpt of the figure more proportionate.... Meaning the new cape to his body ... He doesn't have that puppet look anymore ✨
I just want to say the last few years I’ve been watching your videos and you have inspired me to want to do this as a hobby at first I’ll be honest I was terrible at it but then I started doing it over and over and now it’s a passion for me I’m not even close to your skills but I just wanted to say thank you so much for inspiring me
I've tried laminating thick aluminium adhesive tape to a cotton voile that's not too transparent, and it works quite well. I can give it any shape I want without any problem, all I need is a metal thread on the side edges and in the middle, and the aluminium goes through the sewing machine.
Looks super duper good man! I liked the Flash movie, and the Grey and black Batfleck looked awesome! You nailed it with the paint job! ... when you gonna start building this suit for cos-play???
Hi Chris, you shoul take a shot at customizing the dark knights of steel batman from mcfarlane. I think it is a nice template for your work. love these custom collectibles videos, learn a lot from them
If you could track down a spare Justice League Batmanz you can also headswap with that one to give a proper Batfleck head/mouth appearance as long as you can settle for having the goggles.
Apparently McFarlane couldn’t get the rights to Bens likeness which sucks because the sculpt is almost one to one screen accurate :/ (obviously how much that matters to you depends on how much you like the screen suit but I think it’s alright. Love that the cowl and cape are one piece like the comics for the first time)
Good job. In fact the only thing that has kept me so far from getting this figure is how inaccurate the paint scheme for the figure is. It's unnerving how different the figure is than the actual Batsuit shown on film.

Speaking of that Uncharted fan film, I've recently checked out your older concept trailer of said film. And I've gotta say mate, you really look like Anthony Starr in that video. In fact, you should probably do a Homelander cosplay next since you both share almost the same looks and physique. But not only that, you're both Aussies too! So it's pretty much a match made in heaven.
It looks so much better now, I did something similar to mine a few weeks ago, I just didn't replace the cape or paint the cowl and cape blue so its a black and grey version, may have to go back and make it blue
@CosplayChris Where are you getting the pleather? When replacing the capes? I have a 31 inch jakks darth vader I need to make a cape for and I’m at a loss
If you had a head of Batman from JL, take a castiing of it and the Flash one you could kit bash the jaw to the mask. That what I did with a few of mine.
Not gonna lie, I love this suit. Imo, it makes the most sense in a "realistic, but still tactical" sense over batflecs other"buff latex", or bales full armor.

I really really want you to do the batflack batcycle BUT here is the twist if you have more than one I'd love you to do one of them into some type of Anime Style future bike (Akira or Cyberpunk) with some LED maybe? The batflack bike always looked more Anime than Batbike. Also the Batflack buke was inspired by the Viper powered Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle.
Personally i wanted to get this figure mainly because it looked just completely different from batfleck anyways but when i seen that it was supposed to be gray and blue i chose not to and got keaton instead (hint hint for the next collectable??))
Is it just me or does affleck not look good in any of the suits after BVS? BVS one has gotta be hands down my favorite Edit: the cloth one not the armored.
