What's your background for filming? You have such high production value, it makes me wonder are you in the film industry, done photography as a profession? The lighting, sets and how you just construct your shots are just a treat for the eyes!

Looks like they are back in stock. I just ordered one. I had some rewards points to use too so this only cost me about $30. Once it gets here and I get the dimensions, I think I might design and 3D print an interior for the cockpit.
This batwing is the best deal I have seen on a vehicle in a long time. I was fortunate enough to get one, and it's easy to make a seat for 2 figures. Nice video 💯

Those seats look good, chairs might work better, but wouldn't beat that look. It was great idea. I wonder if you could do chairs, and add those parts to them. But the whole thing looks great. The price is crazy, and those add ons definitely stepped it up. Definitely need one for batman figures.

That looks really good. When that spinmaster batwing is available in the uk I’ll definitely pick it up. Think the price difference is strange as the McFarlane batwing at most of the online retailers is £175 in the uk but it’s McFarlane store exclusive if I’m right and is $250?!?! Even if you convert dollars to pounds still going to be cheaper here in the UK bizarre. Awesome work on inside too think I’d do similar if I can find parts here. I know you said WWE chair would be ok but I like yours looks stylised. Awesome vid as always keep up the good work

Dude, thanks for showing your process. I'm really new at this stuff, so it's super helpful for me. That and the Mafex Batman for scale, because it's definitely Mafex going in these for me. You've convinced me to go Spinmaster. Cheaper price and easier customisability makes it an easy choice. I really want two chairs, just feels wrong with only one, and I want the chairs to match, so even if I can add one to the McFarlane, it won't match. The landing gear is definitely a plus in my mind, because... yeah, I ain't mounting this on a wall. But that price especially is what sells me on it. I just can't justify spending the money on that McFarlane one. Good looking out, man.

I got one from Target too..$250 is understandable, but with all the things we buy these days we gotta try and save where we can. The Spinmasters isn't that bad. It's not premium, but it does the job. If I had extra cash hanging around I might get the Mcfarlane version, but until then I can make do with a cheaper alternative. It's good that this actually came out. We were given options.
Looks damn good in my opinion ! Really wanted that batwing also but I past on it for 250 . Only way to bring out companies bs is to keep the fires burning about the greed out there .

Nice Work, Ninja! It really is amazing what you can do with a little paint and some imagination. Be a perfect piece if somebody comes up with a way to fill the wings in on the bottom, and maybe put some doors on the landing gear. Wish I knew I could get one, I'd give that a solid try. I agree with you Articulated Ninja Turtle ..McFarlanes Batwing shouldnt be 250 it should be 80 or 100 at the most because lets think about if the batmobile goes for $60 the reasonable price for the batwing should be 80. I don't know what McFarlane was thinking
I was wondering if you can actually close the canopy with the two figures sitting inside after you finished. I was able to pick this plane up. But it's not coming until Monday. And I can see a lot of people creating 3D printed interior for this.
Back in the day, we had so many choices for toys. It seemed like every toy line had a cheaper, less detailed alternative. Transformers had Go-Bots, for example. My point is we had choices. Now a days it seems as if those choices might be returning. You have the top of the line and then you have a viable alternative to work with. Plus, there's competition which in my opinion makes the market better! What you did with this Batwing just proves that imagination and a little work can go a long way!

There is a lot to like from Spin Master. Yours looks fantastic. I got the smaller Amazon exclusive one. And like you said. It’s a great starting point. I like the simplicity of it. Can’t wait for all the Batmobiles. Be well.
I’ve been customizing Gundams lately, I am enjoying the technical aspects of the engineering. With a little added panel lines and som flat black paint, and some gunmetal. This could be pretty dope.
Thanks ninja, I’ve been getting confused on all this batwing stuff. Just FYI for your viewers. ringside collectibles has very similar chairs to the WWE chairs. They are usually around $5-$6. They are out of stock when I post this but they pop up occasionally. Some other stiff under Wresting accessories might be useful to some who customize as well.
I'd like to see a review of what you get from the Mcfarlane version before passing judgment. Especially if it has all the features they showed in the Burton movie. $250 is allot but at least its not as stupid as the engine of greed of the hiss tank in cost. Also give how cool the Batmobile seems to be at that $80? price point there's got to be a reason his batwing is so much more. Given what he's done so far I think he's earned a benitfit of doubt until it gets into reviewers hands.
I lucked up and bought two before the word got out. Since people don't like the hollow bottom wings if you were lucky enough to get two, take the wings off one and flip them bad boys upside down sandwich and glue the pieces together cut away the excess where it clips in now you have a full winged batwing. But Marvin what about the leftover fuselage from the batwing you took the wings from? Trim the edge and smooth in the gap with soma thin strips of balsawood. Coat it with epoxy then paint it black and BAM! NOW YOU GOT A COOL ASS BATBOAT that if sealed correctly, WILL FLOAT! I'm a real good customizer, and I would do basically what you did but hollow out the bottom to get more leg room. And like you pointed out before, Dollar Tree is a customizers friend. You can get some cool LED's with wires and a switch. You just have to know where tk look and how to take things a loose. Go into the section with the cheap-o little flashlights and you can get several LED's with batteries, battery holders, and switch. And spend maybe $8.00. So for less than $100.00 and a little skill, you can have a full winged batwing, a batboat, and 2-12" action figures that look better than McFarlane's $40.00 statue. BAM! MIC Drop!
Nice work. There is a guy near me in NJ that did what you did to mine but also added gun barrells to the front and LED lights. Looks insanly good for the money with the extra custom work.
0 seconds ago I've done nothing but praise Spin Master ever since they got the DC license. They have made some great quality stuff tor what you are paying. Their packaging is the only real weakness since it always looks more Dollar store quality, but I can deal with that .I hope they extended their deal amd we get more from them.

Always good to have options. Thanks for the video. Don't think I need another 89' Batwing. If I did get one, it would only be for display purposes and I already have one for that. For the longest time, no company would release an 89' Batwing or Batmobile close to 6" or 1/12 scale. Back in 2019 and 2020, Lego released both Batmobile and Batwing as Ultimate collector sets. Some small modifications and some extra bricks and I can get a Mafex Batman sitting comfortably in both of them. If the SpinMaster and the McFarlane versions were available three years ago, I am not sure which one I would have gone with.
My man ninja good job on upgrading , but I’ve got to tell ya when you flip up that bird /when you look at the bottom of that bat wing if it’s gonna be hanging from a ceiling, it looks horrible lol those unfinished wack square holes..You have to fill the entire space with another piece of plastic. Anywho … it’d look good on a shelf or wall but on the ceiling nah.. I mean I got one and just feels cheapo .. but then again I haven’t felt Toddy’s.. we’ll see as always love ur show ninja keep up the good work !

I think part of the issue McFarlane is having with the batwing and why it costs so much is he isn't expecting it to sell as well as the batmobile so the print run is far less than the batmobile with be, making the cost of the tooling a lot more per vehicle. I still think the price is wild, but it's far more understandable standing against the ghost rider car
Best $40 spent ever! When I got it in hand, it blew me away. I had never painted before, but when I stared at it, I knew I wanted to add weathering. I want to see a painting with Ninja video so I don't F mine up.

I wanna start this by saying I think the Spinmaster is a steal and will 100% be grabbing that at the first opportunity. I cannot afford the McFarlane. That being said: Theres a lot to take into consideration with the McFarlane in terms of plastic, sculpt, and size. When you scale up an object it's not linear, it's exponential. A 3x3x3 cube is 9x the volume of a 1x1x1. That 34 might be only 7inches wider, but rough math, it's nearly double the plastic. If the plastic quality they're using is more rigid and denser to hold better detail, plus it's not hollow, it's not simply a double price, but easily 3 or 4x the price. The increased weight and size increase shipping and handling costs in and out of the factory. Larger surface area and paint applications add to that cost. It's not being stocked in big box stores so they can't subsidize the expenses with large orders from Walmart or target. These charges add up fast. Could a flimsy, hollow, unpainted 34" batwing cost $100-150? Probably. But I'm expecting a collectable not a kids toy. Hold up the 12" batman that came with it next to a McFarlane and yell about how one is $5 vs $20. Maybe it's not apples and oranges but it's tomatoes and blue berries. The spinmaster is great but I think we as collectors need to have some self awareness about what we want, what we pay for, and the realities of manufacturing for us. But Hasbro can still f off with those HasLab isht.
Hey, sorry if this has already been asked...What kind of risers do you use? They look pretty compact and fit pretty well on your Valaverse / Military themed shelf.
Honestly I'm using valaverse boxes they are slim and sturdy plastic shell facing down I just use those for now and it's literally free 😂 I don't like to throw away all my boxes and since I army build I have to many

There are a couple things to be said about the McFarlane Batwing... Expensive? Yes. Could it go on sale in the future? Yes. I am in no rush to get a Batwing, but I would be leaning towards getting the McFarlane version, but I will wait for a sale, and that's the good thing about McFarlane, they actually put items on sale and without a premium membership, or having to spend "x" amount before being able to use a coupon code. It'll just be on sale.
