@@stlsensimilla Russia did this because it's under threat of NATO expansion to its door step - NATO repeated broke promises. You need to look at the cause of the war. Would you allow a hostile military set up a base in the front yard of your house?

For Russia yea lost 100,000+ guys and lost there entire Cold War stockpile that was in any decent condition over a small poor piece of land called the Donbas that in the grand scheme of things is completely worthless

If your country borders Russia neutrality is pure utopia. It is an invitation for Russia to invade sooner or later. USA is a good neighbor unlike Russia so Mexico has no interested in being allied with Russia. Your whataboutism is invalid. Putin wants Ukraineas a part of Russia and Nato is an excuse only.
