CAUTION: Please do not attempt this repair unless you are familiar with electronic repair. Capacitors can store lethal voltages and i am not endorsing trying this at home.

Thanks for sharing, great video! It looks like removing the old wafer is not really necessary. Can save time and effort by keeping the old one in place. Cheers!

I interested perhaps doing a capacitor replacement on my original mc 7270.. Have seen some ads on eBay for replacement kits? Any thoughts?

if you have experience with electronics it would be a great thing to do! make sure you buy parts from a reputable seller as there are lots of fakes out there! if youre not comfortable with electronics or dont know how to safely work inside an amp then best leave it for a tech!
