I didn’t mind the original. Currently trying DIY and I like it as well. But… if V2 is good it may be my next buy as you get almost double for similar money to DIY
You know I’m a big fan of yours. This review test is “almost” legit😂😂. Ive always said when products perform similarly then price comes into play. You compared this to DIY and Labocosmetica. So let’s take it a step further. These are prices by the gallon or in Labo’s case liter(Italians don’t do gallons😂) which is 1.2 gallons. DIY $50, Labo $63, McKees $70 So for me DIY is still the King. Long live the King! I do love the way you dog the drying towel…but kept using it😂😂
@@VassRulez that’s cool. Do you have access to Bilt Hamber though? Hamber gets a little recognition over here but not much and it might be better than them all😂
@@BetterThanNewDetailing Yeah Bilt Hamber is available but very expensive, like with most imported detailing products here. We have a decent amount of products range but most are very premium in my experience.
I thought I was gonna have to unsubscribe and call you KC Details for a minute.. but that sheeet is slick and cleans the wash media( cough cough).. great video Eddie love ya!!
lol, “I just raw dogged that”. Good video Eddie. Your video was like a smooth jazz session. I felt it calming and relaxing to watch. Good stuff. Nice review.
Eddie man, you're the king of tease... teasing us with this mystery rinseless you're testing haha. Gets us all hyped. I'm always down to give every rinseless a shot, love seeing how each brand puts their own spin on a rinseless and finding what I like most. I've got McKee's 1st gen n-914, sounds like I have to test it out side-by-side with the new V2! Love when a company brings about a much needed improvement.
Wow!!! Bold statements! Now I have to buy N914 V2! Like you I was not a big fan of N914. Now I’m very intrigued! Thank you. If you would not have reviewed this product & gave such a positive review. I would not buy this product. Great review
me either I hated n914 I Honestly taught tim that this was gonna be like onr and just , I had different thoughts. But it came to play and these revisions/updates are well received
I just got the new mckees v2 wow that’s on fire 🔥 I was blown away the cleaning power it has. So much surfactants. In it with little oz. Might be the king 👑 of 2024
@@Ecdetails big bro I really want like the idrovesave. BUT it’s making me work harder on doing a rinseless. Also it made my DIY sponge black like I got the new ultra black sponge v2 😂🤣😂
Another rinseless showdown and it looks like this was much better for your experience. I have never tried the McKees rinseless but this looks like it could be a good choice.
914 works great as a paint prep/drying aid hybrid when diluted 8:1. Lubricates AND helps strip polishing oils & waxes, unlike a traditional IPA that offers zero lubrication. I’ve used it after many paint correction sessions and have had zero issues with it leaving behind anything. It also works great to clean door jams with a brush since it still foams up a tad but doesnt require rinsing.
Great review, I believe DIY may be coming out with a V2 Rinseless so will be interesting to see how it compares Or will that Armour Detail Supply Rinseless be the kingslayer 👀
Entertaining video! First time watcher, first time subscriber 🎉 looking forward to seeing more and also what is that new rinseless?? I know you can’t talk about it but you can tell me its ok bro
Have you tried Adams Hoseless? Would love your thoughts on it. Interestingly, i think it's a pretty serious contender on the surfactant side of the house.
Its interesting I had no issue with v1. But I spray 2 panels at a time. Bit I did need some drying aid more for slickness. Now my city water here is not terribly hard. And where I live in Canada not as hot as where you are in summer. Never tried to foam it. This is why I tell people buy a smaller bottle to try and if you like it then go big, if not you haven’t lost as much.
I've only ever used Griot's Garage (blue label) and CarPro ECH2O, how would you say this compares? Personally I found CarPro to be a lot better (more suited to a coated car), but Griot's to be a LOT cheaper. I buy one product and use it til it's done, because I've got very limited space for my barrage of car products and tools, so I'm considering McKee's or DIY next. As I'n just doing my own car and my parents, not doing a business where time is money, cost saving is a lot more important than time saving for me, so a price edge means a lot.
Mckees v2 is great it will be better then griots v1 I have the old one almost full used like 5 times. Diy detail is also great! But for slickness , cleaning and performance mckees came to play
I don't get the Idrosave kick. I started making a video on it yesterday and it started out well on a fairly clean SUV but I found the solution didn't emulsify anything on the one vehicle that had road film from driving in rain on the highway. All I got in the end was a black sponge. Even rocked the jug I have to make sure it was all mixed prior.
I’ve used almost a gallon never had what your experiencing , it cleans as good as diy even did a video on the road film I had on the car cakes on , cleaned a dirty truck no issue. Never had a issue with polymer in the bucket
@Ecdetails I'm hoping this was a one off experience I had, but will keep trying the product. It literally worked so bad on the obe car that I sprayed the area behind the back tire and the idrosave just sheeted right off the surface, leaving the film behind. I got so tired of it that by the time I washed the trunk area, I just used the sponge as though it was a suds wash. Will keep using it to see if maybe some oil got sprayed onto the car as I was driving and this was a one off.
EC: It's gonna dethrone the king. Yvan: So I took that personally. Seriously though, I wonder if we'll see a Diy Rinseless V2 at some point. A lot of people seemed to step up their game after Diy mixed up the rinseless game.
Dude you are not joking when you say that drying towel is cheeks. I have the same one from the clean garage. That towel doesn't qualify for horrible on its best day.
Hey Eddie completely off topic to this video. However in a pasted video you mentioned that you dont use the chef steamer anymore and you didn’t know if you are planning to sell or do a giveaway. I’m interested in getting that steamer since it can be used for steaming and extracting. If you’re willing to selling it how much would it be?
When you say it’s more slick, do you mean it’s minimizing chances of marin when washing? I use DIY but with all these new products on the market like idrosave not sure if i want to get another bottle of diy until they come out with a newer version! +ecdetails
Thats the goal - if it slick , encapsulates, emulsify it will lead to less marring, scratches etc . Diy is still good and I know Yvan is working on v2, YVAN SEES everything and he observes haha he wont stay idle
@@Ecdetails yeah i really like that design. I see they even sell it as a pair, for a regular one on the bottom then that angled one slots into the bottom guard…that might be overkill tho. That one in this vid comes up way higher than i woulda thought too. Need a bucket like this one but at half the price since i keep cracking buckets trying to push the grit guard all the way to the bottom
Ya bro on idrosave you gotta panel by panel - if it’s fresh you just reactive it with rindless if not use waterless wash to remove - if longer then water spot removed
My top 2 or if I could only pick to Idrosave and the second one out right now lord that’s a tough one haha 😂 Mckees is slick and cleans amazing but ads hero sample came in and is just amazing
The mixture is not 256:1, you added 1 oz per gallon? Most rinseless is mixed 1/2 oz. per gallon??? So what is the proper mix of this product for rinseless?
Huh 256:1 is 1 oz per 2 gallons , I had 3 gallons in the bucket so 1 1/2 oz is what I used if you want waterless per mckees 1 oz per gallon if you want a panel prep which I would never do it’s 1 oz per 8oz of water - hope this helps
@ecdetails Eddie be honest is it better than diy 🤔 diy is the first rinseless I bought a gallon of next gallon is Idrosave but that McKees looked good I liked version one but diy replaced that for me.
I wasn't impressed with the previous version. This looks like the did a great job!!! The scent is super important though, I hope they change that part.
Using microfibers for rinseless = automatic Garry Dean method for me. I don't trust the release of the dirt from microfiber regardless of the rinseless wash used.
@@Ecdetails my reply was nothing against you as you are a straight shooter and seemed to enjoy the McKees, keep doing what your doing I enjoy your videos
The best Rinceless wash channel! I just got a gallon of D.I.Y but I'll be maybe trying it out? Thanks for being always honest and sincere about all your product reviews Eddie!🫣😮☺️☺️😉!!! I love the foam I just got from D.I.Y. The other one looks pretty good as well!
You are too kind! I appreciate the kind words. DIY is still good, still cleans good and is a true hybrid meaning foam it on. I couldnt get mckees to foam one to save my life. BUT IT WAS WONDERFUL
