McKenna Faith Breinholt Sings Lissie's "Everywhere I Go" - American Idol 2024 

You never hear of the winner again? Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks come to mind. Jordin Sparks has had great success as a song writer and was on Broadway in The Heights and Waitress. As you say, there are others who were NOT winners, and some even turned away that have been very successful. Amber Riley never even made it to the show and she was fabulous on Glee and was in the West End production of Dream Girls, Jennifer Hudson has been very successful and I think she was like 7th, and we cannot forget Adam Lambert, just an amazing singer and entertainer. There have been many others who have achieved different levels of success. The ones that I think we never see again with a very few exceptions is The Voice.

I absolutely agree, she is definitely top 3 material, it’s sad she had to rely on Katy to sing again😔 I’m so glad Katy chose her though.

This and the one performance before this one were 2 of her worst ones. She's a good singer and unique voice but she's pretty much stayed the same the whole show. Always a slow softer song at a piano and that gets boring. Even Abi has realized she needs to work the crowd more. KB should have stayed over her.

I fear too many people assumed she was safe and did not vote for her. We must vote for our favorite, whomever that is. Abi is amazing, McKenna is my star

there's so many flavors and textures in her voice and i love it. i wonder if she can sustain it once she becomes famous and doing concerts.

Definitely! I’m a fan of instrument players but the last couple of winners have all sounded the same. At least McKenna, Abi and Emmy have unique voices.
