If you're looking for Austin hiking trails then look no further than your backyard. Mckinney Falls State Park is a wonderful state park in the middle of the city. It's pretty close to the airport, but feels like you're in your own world.
Follow along as creator of The Texas Trailhead, Danny Laurel, take you on a journey through the park. You'll go exploring over Onion Creek and hike on the Homefront Trail and more.

Enjoyed watching this video and I really appreciate your invaluable information. My family went to McKinney State Park yesterday and it was awesome. I am surprised at this video because there are no people around the Park. I purchased a annual state park pass, so I look forward to visiting McKinney again and other Texas State Park more frequently. Have a good day buddy!
