The McLaren GT defies the boundaries of engineering to create a feeling that you can do anything. GT is the only one of its kind with a carbon fibre chassis and lighter than anything in its class. McLaren GT. Defy the limits.
Same for most people I think, probably because they made it less agressive to look less like a supercar and more like a GT. But it doesn't look like most GTs because it's fairly small so we see it as a supercar, not a GT.
If this falls in line with other GT car prices this could be an insane competitor tho because it's Mclaren and they have a carbon fiber chassis I doubt it. However, it's still gonna be an amazing car at the end of the day.
I like what they have done with the exhaust note in this promotional video. Sounds like a roaring tiger. I don't have any idea how real it would be in everyday life. These days sports car manufacturers are playing fake exhaust notes through audio systems, so couldn't trust them so easily.
Alright this car is definately a hybrid. The body design is based on the 570 GT, Headlights are a new model of the classic 570 GT look, tailights are definately the mclaren speedtail tailights. It has the sleekness of the speedtail, and it gives a C8 corvette-esque vibe to it. Super cool
It is a request to all car brands, but I want it to be as comfortable as gasoline cars, whether it is an electric car or a driverless car. If you have a battery replacement, a cumbersome process, a long charging process, a single error, a breakdown, or something like that, you'd rather sell a 1950s gasoline car. I love all cars.
Éedvardo i think its bcs this new mclaren has a straight headlight design (unlike the 720s that has a curved triangle design and the 570, 650 and the P1 has that bleeding down headlights design which basically means the headlights drip down to the front bumper, well almost) straight tailight design and also like the C8 corvette, its more slanted down in the front but as it goes on it slowly slants upward and straight.
Cool, the only thing left is to know when this car will be put into any triple-A game racing title. If that happens let me know by replying to me...even after months this comment is written lol.
The main problem McLaren have at the moment is insane depreciation, losing in excess of 30% in the first year and it doesn't slow down from there. There also remain significant build quality and reliability issues, although these appear to be improving. Add into that toxic mix a franchised dealership network with massively variable service and it makes owning a McLaren something of a lottery. The performance of these cars is incredible and the ownership experience should be an unadulterated joy - but sadly it isn't.
