actually don't think there would be much of a comparison. holding flat out at eue rouge and then touching 200+ before breaking into les combs I find it hard press for either car to come from behind and take the f1 into the breaking zone regardless of their straight line speed. the f1 car may top lower but will hit that top faster. and holding flat through eue rouge will give the advantage over the heavier p1 and fxx. not to mention the rest of the track. I imagine comparing GT cars would be significantly closer.

PaulSterling It's a matter of preference. I actually like the MP4-12C, or at least the MP4-12C GT3. I know a lot of the Ferrari guys are bashing the P1 in the comments. The Ferrari sounds really good too but I prefer the McLaren; probably because it sounds like it has more low-end power.

+luchvk You're absolutely right, it's totally subjective. I'm not even a Ferrari fanboy but Ferrari's V12s are incredible. My fav engine sound is the 991 GT3 when it goes above 8000rpm.

flipmode74 if you would have put both these cars in a drag race the McLaren P1 GTR would absolutely destroy that Ferrari it's only because the P1 has a lot going on it's got the V8 engine it's got the electric acceleration system it's also got a DRS system built in all of the downforce is active and the engine I believe revs to 9000 rpm don't get me wrong I loved both cars but if you put it down to a race the McLaren P1 gtr has a win

+Emiliano Ponzetti hold up bud, that ferrari also has electric motors giving its naturally aspirated V12 an additional 187hp. making a total of 1,035hp. same thing as the P1. except the P1 has a twin turbo V8. the P1's electric motor adds 197hp. Making a total of 986hp. Both cars make about the same amount of horsepower. both are amazing cars and would be neck and neck on the track.

electric motors 1st of all are more efficient. 2nd of all there are two motors. 1 being the electric and 2 a turbocharged v8
