This reminds me of the first house I bought back in 1992. It was built in 1918 and over the years only had 100 amp service. It still had knob and tube wiring. Some time in the past it was upgraded to a circuit panel, but there was only one 20 amp circuit that provided power for the entire 2nd floor 😄
I need $1000 worth of arc faults to get this house done. I did get to buy the Milwaukee Romex stapler. Did the whole house on one M12 battery. Today I’m digging yellow great stuff out of all the penetrations and replacing it with fire stopper orange foam. Never had an insulation inspection before yesterday.
I started the house on the 2017 code but will finish on the 2020 code. But it has been fun. They let me slide on the blower door test by having me caulk the subfloor to the bottom plate. Dunlap might not be ready for me yet.
@@garykidd4468 On new houses I do for customers in Chattanooga, I am sued to all of the codes but it's nice to drove across the county line every day headed home. I live a double standard, haha
