i found out that after you add a restructure structure mod element, you can edit the code inside it so you can change how it generates even though editing it normally shows up unavailable options
Hey, sorry for the late reply! Yes, there are unavailable options for ReStructure; This is because I haven't had the time to really sit down and add all of the code that would make these options available to work. Modifying the code directly is completely fine, as it's locked then and won't regenerate. The reason for the unavailable options though is because I am trying to figure out a way to create customized options that show in the MCreator GUI, such as a toggle that can hide and show specific options, or hide / show a new page depending on the option(s) selected.
I'm with a problem, i followed step by step,i installed the [re]structure plugin, and for some reason that idk, when i try to find my /locate structure (struc) it dont appears. (version of mcreator 2023.1)
[Re]Structure is only available for MCreator v2023.3 I specified the version of MCreator 20 hours ago, possibly around the time this comment was made since I've realized it may cause confusion when attempting to install it. I didn't specify a minimum version available which was my mistake and will be fixed upon an update.
So when I enter the biome into structure/log_pile.json; 5:33 Structure JSON The biome would be "#minecraft:is_nether". This is something I'm also working on getting to work in my plugin for MCreator, on a later update. However, you can also specify the biome you want the structure to spawn in, or create a biome for the nether and define it in [Re]Structure. You'll just need to turn Specify the structure Heightmap style to None and define the Structure height adjustment, otherwise it will spawn on the bedrock roof.
If structures are being cut in half, then this might be an issue with the NBT Data from Minecraft, or the Structure wasn't saved correctly when using the Structure Block. Overall, structures that are generated using this method are based on what you've created in Minecraft and have saved using Structure Blocks. If your structure is cut in half, then your structure might be exceeding the Structure size limit, or the bounding box around the structure was not set correctly.
@@gregoryam i found a way to fix the cutting in half, but quick question i installed the plugin on 2023.2 but i dont see the gui only the report issue at the top what am i doing wrong? do i still need to follow the instructions in the tutorial if im using the plugin?
@@franciscogolden1I'll see what I can do to make the plugin available for 2023.1 - 2023.3 since you're not the only one asking for those versions available. If you still have the plugin installed and see the menu at the top, you'll get access to new updates when they drop as I designed the plugin to have a menu option available when I release new updates.
