Despite all I know about the story, I'd never seen that first clip. 2013 - 2016 CSGO was on a different level man... It's probably just nostalgia but the skins were such a cool and original consept back then and something about them was magical. The game is still great but has lost a lot of its charm
I think we were just young tbh, it felt way more magical to me as well but I was born in 2000, grew up with cs 1.6 so cs go was a massive part of my life during my early and middle teens. As someone who went through an year of serious depression I kid you not it’s unbelievable how different your mind thinks in that state. The mental clouding is INSANE! Mental health is something everyone needs to be more sensitive and aware of. It's horrible that he took other people with him, and that he committed suicide the way he did, but if our health care system worked properly & held him until he got better - and people had tried to help him instead of being oblivious, he & all 3 of them would still be here.
how tf would anyone know about his mental health issues if he didn't tell anyone? There was no indication whatsoever that he was going thru all this. I can only imagine what the family of those two people must be feeling knowing people are justifying their killer.
@@adityabhardwaj875 Not everyone can, or wants to, open up about their mental stability. In some families, it is seen as a disease and the person is considered a manic even before he goes crazy. Dude needed serious mental help and was a clear danger to himself and others, if you have a psychiatrist making that kind of call to police or even a concerned family member they can and often do take you in to a psychward at least for an interview.
@@NotSoMax Police officers don't have the final say when it comes to involuntary institutionalization in a mental facility. Officers uphold the law and must follow it as it is written. Its very difficult to have someone institutionalized against their will, blame the court system for it's broken processes not the cops who are forced to follow them.
@@ant1952 first off the courts should 100% not be giving cops more responsibility, second in the case of a 5150 the cops do a small “interview” then they take them to an institution and the institutions gets the final say. I’ve seen perfectly calm people taken in to an institution by police, the institution released them immediately after the interview but they were still taken in against their will. In this situation no mental institution was even given the opportunity to evaluate him when it was already expressed by his family and a medical professional that he was at risk of hurting himself or others. This is not a rare occurrence but it’s something that cannot be solved by “giving police more power and freedom” when you consider how often they already abuse the power and freedom they already have, and how often that abuse of power disproportionately effects those struggling with Mental health not to mention POC and the waman.
I think hating on McSkillet for the "murder" is unfair. Obviously I have no idea what was going on in his head at the time, but what I see is a young man who had success given to him early and taken away very fast. He had a fragile mind and it was broken, leading him to suicide. The death of the mother and child is absolutely tragic and my heart goes out to their family, but I have trouble believing that their deaths were intentional - which makes it manslaughter, not murder. Should he have drove down a highway the wrong way and crashed? Absolutely not, but people shouldn't jump off bridges either. The kid was driven to suicide by things I doubt we'll ever even hear about - that is tragic by itself. The fact that more lives were taken by this tragedy is even more tragic. Sadly, I feel this is just "how it is" nowadays. People commit suicide, it's awful. I think that if someone is going to commit suicide then they're gonna do it however they want - but you can't really tell someone driving down a highway the wrong way to hit the breaks and find a bridge to jump from. The whole situation is just a horrific tragedy and I don't think anyone is at fault. Blaming a depressed suicidal kid won't solve anything, just let all three of them rest easy. Before anyone says "he wasn't depressed before," depression can be hidden. you can live with it for years before anyone notices. He could well have been depressed from the moment he made his channel, it's unfair to assume he wasn't. He killed himself, there was undoubtedly something wrong. For the people who hate on him - please keep it to yourself. He's dead, he's not gonna see ur hate comments. The only people you can hurt with those comments are the innocent members of his family.

Mental Health is something that is very serious and very sensitive, its an illness people don't choose to be mentally ill and its something that more people need to be aware of, it effects the way you think, the way you look at things, your actions, how you perceive the actions of others as well as many many more things, people think mental illness and depression is just someone being weak minded and sad but its not, mental illness can effect anyone someone having a perfectly normal life can become mentally ill just as easily as someone living the worst life possible. outside factors like bullying, rough life patches, losing your job, losing loved ones ect don't cause mental illnesses they just enhance them they make it worse they kick you while you are already down so its not fair to just judge someone on there actions without actually trying to understand the situation they are in first, my brother has suffered from mental illnesses since he was about 12-13 and we didn't know it at the start, he become paranoid, insecure and stressed, people at school figured out that something was wrong and instead of helping they bullied him, he put on weight, tried to avoid school as much as possible, gave up sports and barely left his room and we didn't know what to do none of us had experienced mental illness before so we didn't act accordingly because we didn't know what the right way to act was, he has attempted suicide 3 times and i wont get into details about that because its private and frankly hard to talk about but he said he had never contemplated it before and it had just gotten stuck in his head one day, for me it was the hardest time of my life so far and i learnt a lot from it, we know have a good support system around him and although hes not "cured" hes in better shape now then he was back then. if you see a friend or loved one having some problems or showing signs that something is wrong then talk to them, its really not that hard to ask if they are ok its only 3 words Are You Ok, sometimes people need someone to talk to and try to help them and if you don't know how to help someone there are helplines out there that will help you help someone, suicide helplines aren't just there to help the person in need they are also there for people who need the help to help someone in need, they take it very seriously and will listen and give advice to you even if you are not the one in need. if you are in need of help yourself just give them a call, seek help and talk to people about it and in most countries the helpline is toll free and it might just save your life. Huge respect for Dominic Pizarro, i wish more people thought the way he does the world would be a better place if they did.

@@TheVirumXD actually it does, he did not expect to get set back this much. When you're not aware something like that can happen to your or how to deal with it, it can crush ones ego.
Studying isn't even remotely comparable to the insurmountable stress, anxiety and depression bipolar people experience. When you enter a manic state, you have no control of your actions. His age also had nothing to do with it. Plenty of 18 year olds have faced the Taliban, ISIS and Al-Qaeda in the middle east. They completed their mission, or they gave their lives trying; but they didn't start offing themselves. This is a simple, yet very complex case of untreated mental illness.

Back in 2016 when I was only 16-17 years old myself, McSkillet contacted me on a Reddit post I made outing SkinFreak not only taking ideas, but also blatantly stealing the exact footage from McSkillet from his videos to be used in his own videos with hard evidence. The fact that the police didn't do anything to stop him from doing what he did is pretty upsetting. I cant even think what could've been if they have just put him in the Police car and taken him to the hospital. R.I.P The OG Mcskillet. Thank you for not forgetting this man.
I know he made mistakes, but once a person passes away you should always respect that soul and not address their mistakes. May god put all the lost souls of that day to rest.
Dominic God bless him. Lost his mom and sister. In his heart he has forgiveness. I'm a psychiatric nurse I can only imagine how manic his behaviors were. It's a shame the cops didn't take a more proactive approach. Prayers to the families
@@Person-el3sf he wasn't mentally okay and didn't know what he was doing. if the son/brother of the victims can forgive him and understand that then there's no reason why we can't
so sad that people like you can't recognize that he literally killed a 12 year old that was going to live a long and full filling life, but yeah, lets just drive in the opposite lane like its gta and because why not. sooo sad that people don't have compassion for mcskillet. Lol.
@@rive3051 sad that people like you dont realise that the kid didnt get the help he desperately needed despite there being huge red flags for several days prior to his suicide and still nobody helped him, he wasn't in control of what he was doing he was just going on autopilot
@@rive3051 He was 6 years older. He also had a full life ahead of him. What we should be blaming is the cops that didn't take him in. A man with bipolar disorder has no self control.
Damn this had a way more sad ending than I thought, also sad to see that despite the mom talking to the police asking for help they don't help. Everyone blames McSkillet for his actions but he wasn't in the right state of mind and the people who cared for him realized this, but despite their efforts nobody decided to help.
@@ravin7047 so you mean to say a person living in California, the most liberal and accepting city for such persons wasn’t understanding enough for him? I’d like to know which other place in the world would’ve been more supportive. Please enlighten me 🙏
99% of the comments on videos covering this back when it happened were people saying he was a horrible person and hes a murderer. I always felt bad for him and i loved some of his videos, im glad someone covered this...
I am heart broken for him Holy sh*t he had a hard time. That must've been a nightmare.. Could someone have saved him before this escalated like that? I'm so sad for him. His dad tried to stop him that day. Oh my God he must've been feeling like hell.
@@TheOperatorKB I'm heart broken for all of them dawg. Everyone. McSkillet + McSkillet's family, as well as Aileen & Aryana and their family. I'm not usually soft but this shit is heartbreaking. If only the laws were different and he coulda got 5150'd things would've been different
