This looks amazing. I'm not even a huge shmup fan, but this looks like it'll be a blast. Love the part at the end blowing up the engines of the huge ship. Incredible use of the hardware!
this game looks absolutely insane. I love the sega demo scene. But yuzo was there from the beginning. and you can see. he really knows the system from inside out. never seen insane effects like these on a sega genesis.
1:38 I kinda like how in this part they didnt use software scaling or a pre-rendered animation of the mothership in the background zooming in, but instead redrawing segments of said ship to be bigger, which is honestly a very common trick for most megadrive games
@@solarflare9078 No, his FM Design on Segas MD was much better than this! It sounds like a simple FM Programming on a Soundblaster or Adlib Soundcard for PC.
Eh I would say it’s sounds better than that one current Sonic Composer and yeah I have to say he can’t do MD music for shit and I only like a few tracks which is something but the rest is not good But this is one track so far we don’t know the rest of the ost atm
@@morrowlterraslove Yes but i mean not the composing directly, I mean the technical implementation from the FM. Today, there only a few people can handle it properly and exploit the possibilities from the FM Synthesis!
