MD Part 15 | Springs - Maximum Stress | Strain Energy | Deflection 

In this video i have discussed about the Helical Springs with Axial load mainly, the maximum stress point and the value of max stress have been derived, and by the application of Castigliano theorem the deflection of Spring has been derived in terms of Coil Dia (D), wire Dia (d) and active no of coils (n).
Further the concept of series and parallel equivalent of spring combination has been discussed with examples.
