MDT HNT26 review. It this video we take a few minutes to go over and review the new MDT HNT26. This is a hunting chassis we have been anxiously awaiting since its announcement in spring 2021.
I had to install a foam pad on my ESS myself ! much better now but you would think for $1500.00 cdn it would be included. ( small point but why doesn't MDT include something to fill the whole in the bottom of the handle ? )
Jamie, have you put an arca rail on the stock? The stock looks great but it angles from the magazine well to the forearm in such a way in that you cannot run a rail right up to the mag well. Maybe it depends on how the gun balances but from my experience with tripods with a rail on a KRG X-Ray, I like to clamp in as close to the mag well as possible. Thoughts?
I think the XLR is more a duel purpose stock that is just at home at 1000 yards on steel as well as hunting. Where the HNT I would consider more of a pure hunting stock that could be shot at long range if needed.
