i just finished watching your experiences as a college athlete in normal life and it was really having all this free time and enjoying what's there normally
You're doing great. Don't overthink the transition period. Determine your priorities, how to achieve them and you're good to go. Thanks for the upload Marcus 💮😁
“No one is busy, it’s all about priorities.” Thanks for sharing this-good reminder for us all! Can you also please share what the first song you were playing on the piano was?
Great video one again Marcos! Enjoy your days off and try to relax as much as possible. If you wish you can do some travel vlogs for a next topic, while you are living the life of a normal uni student. What do you think?
Why not finish it off with el Open as the big taper meet? Spanish sprint freestyle is looking fairly good after a few years, maybe even a spot in the 4x100 at Rome could be doable?
What no Swimming ?...Peace BrO! LOL.....The last two videos have been increasingly - you. Things that other RU-vid-ers can not be or bring to the table. Keep doing what your doing and looking forward to the ride! Go Bears!!!! p.s. Now that you have more time for a social life, take us to a few parties 😛😜🤟🎉🎊
mfw this dude has a citadel logo sweatshirt (which iirc you only get if you have an offer) and acts as if apartments on streateasy are out of his reach...
Fellow Recent Swammer here - thank you for your last two videos. I was a swimmer at Illinois, and the last month without sport has been the most constantly uncomfortable experience. Thanks for making a video that I could fully relate to and thanks for sharing your experience. Cheers to NARP life and best of luck to you!
Congrats on the NCAA Championship! And I totally understand the lull after a large part of your life gets removed. After graduating last year from Berkeley, I just had a lot of free time. And while I know I should be studying for the LSAT and prepping for Law School applications, other more pressing things come along - like speech and debate coaching/Tournaments - and take priority. But if anything, know that as much as you think you're getting lazier or wasting your time - you aren't. You're just getting into a new routine. With all this extra time, spend time doing what *you* want to do, be sure to spend time with family and friends, and go have some more adventures. The semester will end before you even know it, so cherish this while it lasts! Thanks for the upload and GO BEARS!
Berkeley has always been my dream school which I’m gonna apply next year😚😚, and also I love swimming, this is probably why I started to follow you at the first time. Even though there’s not much about college life anymore, I still love your video style! Looking forward to future videos!🥳🥳 Btw, Nate is such a coward….
This is kind of random but I remember you mentioned in your q&a video (I think) about how you like to keep yourself hairless during the season so since you're not swimming currently, are you going to start growing out your facial hair and such?
@@elliottbradley4272 ohhh i guess once the season ended in March there was technically no more swimming left to do! And you'll find out in my next video coming out REALLY soon!!
..that love & hate relationship with Swimming huh!? Lol.. jumping in that cold ass lake, crazy lokos, Lol.. good video, saludos bro desde Los Angeles CA;)
I think you're doing awesome in your transition to a normal life! Soon that toxic girlfriend swimming will be but a memory. You'll remember the good times and decide you want her back. That's when you get a job and that will become your new toxic girlfriend!! LoL!!
Marcos, great vid… A quick story… I was a college wrestler and golfer, did some coaching during grad school, then became obsessed with career during post grad. Career became my entire focus. I had a been a workout guy since I can remember. Then bam, I wake up after all the schooling, loving my career… but was FAT. My dad called me one day, and we were talking - btw he is 75 and in amazing shape - about a hike he was going on. He always had a way of nudging me in the right direction. “Son, leadership is more than just being great at your job. Leading and helping people is more than just being great at your job. What first makes a leader great, is how well they take care of themselves. That is #1 priority…”. I could go on and on, and I learned he was so right. Putting my health priority in my life, made me a much more effective leader. Stephen Covey used to say, ‘some times getting on the bike was the best leadership I did that day.’ He was an avid bicyclist. All that to say, never change those habits you have created. Putting your health priority in your life, will make you a better employee, better partner, better future husband and father… keep up the great work. Always love your posts.
Hahha I guess it's not late for most people but when you gotta wake up at 5:30 the next day, 11pm is pretty late! Hahha yeah social media and online shopping is an addiction lol
@@marcosricopeng poor boy. I found more juicy things in UCLA online 😆😆😆. Crazy. Waiting last 4 UC schools’ mails. 👻👻👻👻 maybe I can transfer to Cal. 😈😈😈
Downtime without production after collegiate swimming like you just went through is normal, imo. But for the love of god man, START UPLOADING MORE! Hahahaha I loved the vacation part too-except that snow shit. I built a van to travel in to escape the winter and cold. Most excellent video!
Hahaha when you mentioned that you can have heart to heart talks with us, I was wondering, what about having heart to hearts with your roommate beside you? 😄 Anyway, great video! Your experience sounds similar to 2020 quarantine where people thought that they could do more stuff since they have more time, but some didn't. I think it's still good to enjoy your break as it might not come as often in the future. Also, omg that slop looks so steep.... What an adrenaline rush
