The Vanquish is at the top of the food chain in it's price range. I wish machines like that were around when I started 9 years ago. The only thing the Simplex has on it is being waterproof, but most people buying a machine in that range are hunting on land anyway.
I've had a Vanquish 540 as a backup machine for a while. However I'm starting to appreciate it more and more as a jewellery/coin shooter in parks. I feel it's the best general purpose machine out there today. I love my Deus ll for serious beach hunts and deep silver, but I find it too overwhelming for the parks.
For the price they can not be beat. I think the vanquish with the 10" coil hit every target we compared with it. I would even say it hit better some of the time.
@@jshan8205 I usually only run two programs or patterns. In real trashy parks I use my trashy park pattern or the Andy S. pattern which is a more open pattern. In this case I was running a trashy park pattern. I think it is setup for fast off, deep on, high trash, etc.
