yeah, idk why Scott was so eager to expose him they're not even yellow yet. i can't think of any benefit it could give them, except if it Scott's task. if anything, the HF should make a blacklist for people to be excluded from the weekly heart dono draws if they've wronged the foundation's members. that way the HF could not only gain support, but also prevent from potentially being wronged. contributing more to the plot armor they're trying to do

Tango really laid into the task and it was wonderful. And the comedy duo of Skizz and Tango had thee best lines. Tango: Skizz you have to do all the redstone. Skizz: These seasons aren’t very long.

The trusting Skizz innocence, figuring that Tango’s crazy monologuing was a mute-button mistake…! (Added) Awwww, and Skizz trying to warn him, “Run. Tango, run.” when Martyn was about to confront his secret.

As someone who only started watching (and re-watching) Tango this year i can say he always sounds crazy when he's playing Life series.

Honestly tango is impressive. Also thanks for pointing that out.

If Tango wins this season, everyone will regret making fun of Torchy and him.

Light sources don't negate the blindness effect... so I'm not sure how that'd benefit the player at all.

@@Ithenna It's not supposed to benefit the player, it's a tribute to Torchy... Tango loves the mind games...

Etho's task was literally to try and make someone fail theirs, which kinda necessitated knowing at least remotely what they were doing, so he was kinda forced to have his radar on high alert this session. If it wasn't for the fact that the rules changed and only yellows could call it out, Etho would've completed it, but getting a yellow to call Tango out for him in a limited time frame (without getting called out himself for that matter) was basically impossible.

​@@Ithennait's never been the case where a green could make someone fail their task unless the task specifically required them to not be caught/called out. And people have successfully helped yellows try and guess tasks.

Agreed. His task should have been a 50% of the session one or something instead. It was near impossible. Also, do you know if the rule was one attempt per person or just one attempt all in all?

It's fine, it's hard for them to figure out the exact task, and there aren't consequences for failure anyway

Maybe a hard task could be that you have to spread a rumor that has to be told back to you from someone you haven’t shared the rumor with yourself. Which proves that it has caught on. And the person telling it back to you can't know, or mention, that it was you that started it.

The sneakily following someone could be fun, but I feel like a time needs to be met, like 10 minutes w/o being caught. Otherwise they could follow them for like 10 seconds, get caught, and turn in the task

I had to check if scotts task was to help a yellow guess another players task. Him ratting out everyone was a bit annoying to me

LORE: Tango is not insane. Torchy is Tango's nephew/niece or little cousin that he was babysitting that day. Tango is actually a big torch that grew arms and legs. The little children of the Tek variety don't have arms and legs yet and look like regular torches, but they do have a consciousness and the ability to talk through the crackling of their fire, which only their fellow Teks understand. As they grow older, they gain the ability to walk and speak human and they gradually take on a human looking form, though their hair remains fire and their body remains made of a firm, yet flexible wood.

To add on to this: - Tango's species is known as "Torches of the Tek variety" (taeda varietatis tekem) "Tek" in short - yes, the children of this species can move on their own, but they can only move by jumping like human kids doing sack race. This requires them to learn to stand upright, which they can't do in the first 18 - 24 months of their life, because their body is too stiff to even move slightly, so they can't balance against the slightest breeze. It only becomes flexible enough to balance themselves on their feet once the faint red glow on their head (yes, redstone torches look like baby Teks) ignites into a proper flame, which makes the wood of their body more soft and flexible. - No, the children of the Tek variety don't have a gender. Their gender only develops once they reach puberty and start to growing into a humanoid shape, although it's unclear if they actually have biological genders, or only mimic a human gender of their choosing in order to blend in with human society - during mating, one of the adult torches of the Tek variety grows a suspicious extrusion from their abdominal area that sticks upwards and gets longer and longer until it breaks off. The other mate then drops their embers on the broken end of the stick until they melt onto it. Slowly, the wood heats up and when it starts to faintly glow red, a new Tek is born. This reproductive process has been seen to work in any "gender" constellation. - they can dye their hair/flame blue by sprinkling soul sand on it (the crafting recipe is inaccurate)

@@avtem Yes, that's an artifical time limit. It's completion is not actually based on the persons actions and is instead on an artificial time limit. That's why I hate these kind of tasks. I like seeing the hermits try to "ACCOMPLISH" a goal. If it's "Do X for the entire session", then that's not a "task", that's a "role". It's not something you "accomplish" as much as it is something you just "do".

I don't like the dynamic that a green player would tell a yellow player what they think another green player's task is. It should be solely up to the yellow player to guess

I agree, there should be some more restrictions to it. It's an interesting concept, but too loosely applied.

I think them being able to guess once per person is fine. It’s supposed to be a secret after all and the previous two episodes most people were being way to open with their tasks. It should probably be taken into account for which task ideas are accepted though. Tango’s was basically impossible unless he made an effort to minimize interaction with other people.

The point is to make sure people can't perpetually stay on green and extend the season too far. It's a good way to keep the whole group closer in terms of what stage they're at.

UPDATE: I WAS RIGHT!!! See, you shoulda signed it. Now you had people messing with the machine cause you used normal items instead of signed books.

Add some rules for the doorbell. Like a noteblock minimum/if they have to confirm that they like it or not. Basically something to stop them from putting a button on a noteblock and calling it a day.

@@TheWhitePianoKeyProductions but people couldn't guess it. Two people were mistaken, and the only reason Martin got it right was from learning that the other two guesses were wrong. Imagine once there is like 10 yellows. The more people guess a single person, the more info the next guesser has and the easier it is to get them no matter how well they disguise it. Once like 3 people have guessed someone another yellow would pretty much always give it a go cause of how much info they have now. And if they get it wrong the next has even more info. It encourages ganging up on one person and making it impossible to complete their task
